In part two of the USS Arizona build I start on the painting process and final assembly to complete the project. It took my about twice as long as a build normally takes because of the amount of modifications that I had to do, but in the end I am coming away from this project with more knowledge and experience that I can put into future projects. I hope you enjoyed watching this build as much as I did building it.

I thought using those stencils for pre-shading was brilliant! Never seen that done before, But I think I'd paint a medium gray instead of white so the red wouldn't take on a cranberry tint. Unless that's the shade you were aiming for. Also, I was hoping you'd do a close up of the hull so we could see how the shading turned out.

My grandfather who is 92 was on the Ogala on Dec. 7th and is curios why you chose that music for such an historical subject.

Please tell your grandfather thank you for his service. Honestly I don’t know why I chose that music, and it was a long time ago. I also don’t remember the music I chose without looking at the video. Perhaps I should have been more intentional with the music choice. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I used a kit that I found on eBay. I can remember the name of it now. It wasn’t expensive. Maybe $18 or so.
