For the crew of the USS Carney, the war between Israel and Hamas turned a routine seven-month deployment to the Middle East into a fight against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, who launched drones and missiles in support of Hamas. CBS News national security correspondent David Martin talks with commanders of the destroyer that patrolled the Red Sea, defending commercial ships transiting to and from the Suez Canal.

its actually not they intentionally left out the fact that the houthis are the only country fighting to stop israel from their death camp in gaza. Thats right its a death camp like the dath camps the Nazis had. We are defending a holocaust perpetrated by Israel rn. Houthis are a poor nation but theyre the only arab nation with a spine. Israel is trying to destabalize the entire middle east. If the US keeps enabling them we could be facing Iran & Saudi militaries soon

I have never seen that type of uniform on navy personnel. I tried to look it up, but couldn’t find the name of the uniform or when it was introduced. Also, do the sailors like it? It looks comfortable. Thanks in advance.

Good, we need real hardware to protect america. The Pentagon just bought boeing jets a couple of weeks ago. Glad they don't have doors if you know what I mean. And the starliner, the track record here is very bad. That coupled with this war talk. And the buying of questionable equipment, they appear to be able to return, for now. Why buy defense equipment from a company that performs so badly. Then start problems in every corner of the globe. From china, to russia we supposedly have big problems on the horizon. Then why buy "junk" to deal with these problems. What about East Palestine Ohio? I think if you reported on it as the "middle east Ohio" real aid would have been there.

So where is everyone else (other countries) that would be impacted which is basically the rest of the world to a degree. Since globalization and globalists think they know what is best and are smarter than everyone else, why wouldn’t they call for rooting out these terrorists and groups that continue to cause chaos?
