To be fair, it's good but the weakest out of the 3 artcoin bb's. Only advantage it has are its railgun which give it the upper hand in long range engagements (still outclassed by constitution for that matter), the lack of secondary cannons make it weaker in close to mid range compared to other battleships. Basically its the best bb for long ranges but certainly not the best ship overall for sniping.
@@OhhGeeehes calling it an arsenal ship bcuz real world US navy had a future ship design like this that was eventually canceled due to the price of it.
@@benjaminli4235 sometimes it need luck bro, poseidon durability is 60000, and UET-1 durability 10000 - 4salvo per fired, so total 100k durability....need help from teammate some situation
Before mw decided to look like cold war cod ww2 cod infinite warfare and advanced warfare there's a bug where if you control your attack heli you would constantly take damaged even if you got a meat shield
People say it needs buffs or main cannons arent devastating enough. Tbh its kinda balanced. Not very bad damage per second but not too OP that massas are useless when facing it.
Tbh the only people I see who complain about it are trash players who can't use it right and just charge in. Literally skill issue. Imagine being so bad at the game you want one of the strongest ships in the game to be buffed. ☠️
I guess it's not that much about skill but more about what you get for 20k artcoin, I mean, it's a really good ship but still worse in every aspect that Moscow or ageis which have the same prices so I'd just get those over the Hampshire. Yes, Hampy has better chances of hitting at long ranges but that still gets outclassed by someone that knows how to pre aim with a normal bb cannon, plus, all other bb's have secondary cannons and better aa, while this has just 4 worse versions of the Marlin autocannon. Definetly devastating at long ranges but nothing really compared to other market bb's in terms of pure damage and versatility.
@@Endel-ionI bought aegis back in days for 20k and about week ago sold for 35k old buddy cant keep up now. Long range is what matters you hit ships before they get close. Before buffs at point blank range hampshire vs aegis were about whos better player now yesterday i literally ate some chinese try hard sweaty aegis in close range. Btw even missouri now is better than moscow pretty sure at direct fight old yamato aswell claps
@@naikiklis well, you can hit just as reliable with ageis/any other bb than with Hampshire at long ranges, you just need a bit more skill at pre-aiming, about Moscow VS Missouri i highly doubt it, maybe In a 1v1 Missouri has a chance of winning but overall Moscow still remains way more versatile against many threats. Also yes, range matters but not as much as you might think, average engagements still happen between 5-8km so it's pretty rare to exceed the 10km line, unless you go opposite direction and camp at the maps edge.
Great game, but I don't see the point in using submarines as the enemy can see a red outline of you while underwater. Defeats the object of using submarines.
The USN almost did with the proposed BBX Arsenal Ship (same hull program that got them the DDX Zumwalt, but it was all missiles, no cannons), but the Cold War ended and budgets evaporated & doctrine changed, almost caused the Zumwalt class to be outright cancelled too.
Won't happen. Too big an expensive. Although Japan is constructing two 20,000 ton Arsenal Ships which they claim to be destroyers to skirt politics. And South Korea is building 3 Arsenal Ships of the 8,000 ton range. But these lack rail guns. Also from what I know of future US Naval policy, it's going in the direction smaller vessels such as Corvettes. In case you're wondering, 80 Corvettes are planned. What's cool about these Corvettes is they're going to be the main bodies of fleets of Drone warships. In fact, I design vessels known as Corvettes. And if you're going as me to draw up the prints for a battleship, I won't because nobody is going to build the design.
Someone could make 6 destroyers for the price of that ship and they would be much more useful and offer much more flexibility in a fleet. A ship like that simply makes no sense.
Bro I got USS MISSOURI In golden hunt and with that motivation i started uploading Videos i am a 19 lvl player i want more ships to make new new gameplay videos can u give some tips..
Dear Satan, I have been, very, very, very, very naughty this year, so could you please build a a couple of the for the US, French, German, Norwegian and Romanian navies
Missile destroyers have VLS tubes like this, and the days of naval fights within gun range of each other are pretty much over. Generally a naval engagement is going to be fought over the horizon using aircraft, anti ship missiles, CIWS and SM interceptors. No one uses battleships anymore because they’re too big, slow and vulnerable for the modern battlefield
@@mikalcobbs9402 battleships are much smaller and faster than carrier what make them obsolete is there gun there gun max range can only reach 50km while anti capital ship missile can go over 1000km
@@drsm7947 the advent of aircraft and torpedoes made battleships obsolete. The US hasn’t produced a battleship since the Iowa class which last saw service in the gulf war and are all now either museum ships or scrap metal. A harpoon missile has a range of 278km not 1000, aircraft like the F/A-18 hornet carrying ASGM’s can fly from a carrier from 500 miles/804km away launched the anti-ship payload and return to their carrier. Not to mention the US operates 11 nuclear carriers with air wings of around 70-80 aircraft per ship in coordination with their strike groups which can comprise destroyers, cruisers, frigates, submarines and various supply elements.
@@mikalcobbs9402 also some of missile cruiser specially those Russian missile cruiser are same size and weight as a battleships also some anti capital missile can go over like 1000km range and its currently BGM-109 Tomahawk, BrahMos-II and Nirbhay
Players call for a realistic naval warfare game and what they get is "World of Warships" or "Modern Warships"... Sometimes I think they are just joking us. 😑
Part of it is that modern warships are so wildly capable that battles would last hours and if we went strictly realistic, anyone who picks Americans would win, even if we went based on paper capabilities and not real world capabilities. We need to have more arcade-y style games to make it fair and balanced and not take half a day for a single battle.
There are more realistic naval warfare games, like Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age. There are other simulators available too, if you just bother to Google. But for an multiplayer game that's similar to this but more "realistic" in terms of damage & dynamics, then War Thunder's Naval part of the game is that.
