In this video I have remastered the National Anthem of the USSR during the last parade in the country, the 73rd October Revolution Day parade on November 7, 1990.
Unironically it probably is for them. Russians really have gotten screwed. They had a damn revolution to overthrow the czars, only for Stalin to take over just a few years in and kill even more civilians...then Stalin dies, they try their best to move away from him but the whole has been falling apart, people are in poverty and the end is near... must have been brutal, a story of 3 generations of suffering. Ironically it's still pretty bad, the economic woes and the authoritarianism came back pretty fast all things considered.
This version, in G major, Represents everything rustic, idyllic and lyrical, every calm and satisfied passion, every tender gratitude for true friendship and faithful love,--in a word every gentle and peaceful emotion of the heart is correctly expressed by this key, G major. Once again, Rest in Peace, our dear U.S.S.R.
It seems they already knew that it was their last soviet parade! Long live the red banner Long live the soviets who ferociously marched towards Berlin fighting the nazis . Love from india.
In my heart there will be CCCP forever.. An era, an ideology, and some countries... Those probably weren't perfect, but it was meant the world for me... Miss you Soviet union... miss you Yugoslavia, miss you Eastern Block and miss you socialism... Anyone can condemn you.. but real people loves you deep in their hearts...
@@tothbenedek3830 I agree with you. I think Capitalism and Socialism need to go together. I think an wealth limit should be put, but I'm not also in favour of huge welfare states. I think school and healthcare should be free but not housing and food because I feel then people will not work.
Did you live in that hell? Yes, I know it was beautiful literature, but I'm talking about reality. I did. Honestly, it would have been less worse if German won the war, no doubt about that.
Me too, but I don’t like how Soviet form Communism into extreme (but it is really Stalin to blame). North Korea is so extreme so does China both are bc. of Soviet but I wish Soviet Union will be rise again but with more organize and good leadership
3:06 There are people who are crying. After all it was a big event for the people of the Soviet Union. From the Japanese🇯🇵 Есть люди, которые плачут.
As a Russian, I feel sad when I watch this. My parents and the parents of my parents lived in those wonderful times, the times of the Soviet Union, when we really were a superpower, not like now
An old adversary that is missed....the current guy....Tzar Putin. Forget it. The west.....we are flawed and with sin. This is true . Russia could be so much more than it is. Oligarchs and Putin...they have to go. I was not sad that the USSR fell then.....now.....yes.
Teacher asked me where is USSR now I say its in our .heart Long live USSR , long live youre excellency Vladamir Lenin. Everyday when I get up in morning I see youre portrait in our house.
The USSR is but a nation. The message it carries is what truly matters. And as long as we remember the USSR, we'll remember the revolution and the glory and power it gave to the people.
Wasn't kazakhstan the only one who wanted to rejoin at the end? So even Russia wanted to leave.... Don't get me wrong please the union achieved amazing heights throughout its history but there were also incredible lows. Amd if you forget those you will never achieve a balanced view of history.
The Soviet Union was more than just a country, it was an idea, a vision, a dream Its vision ultimately failed to materialize, but its hope inspired us all
As a great world power, a communist utopia… the most important thing the USSR did was make a new generation of people who have made memes and carried on the Soviet legacy. We are all 50 percent Soviet in our hearts. Rest In Peace, power and memes my friend
OUR heart is RED, OUR blood is RED and OUR flag is RED as well comrade red and our is something not to be messed with we need our hammer and sickles 😔 right now soon
As an Afghan, I appreciate the Soviet Union for trying to help defend my country against the Western-backed Mujahideen (even though the Soviets lost in the end). Afghanistan under Communism along with Soviet assistance was a million times better than both the Taliban regime and the Western-backed "democratic" regime of 2001-21.
Communism fits almost perfectly inside Islam there were Islamic communist countries like Afghanistan, North Yemen,etc... I wish that Pakistan would have been Communist with Afghanistan in a right direction and also don't hate on Muslim countries its the country's leaders that do these horrible things not the people in the country they are are also victims of the country's leaders
also i read somewhere before Soviet forces went into afganistan there was basically no infrastructure, no roads, people used to live in mudhuts (many still do i know) Soviets helped build roads and infrastructure Afganistan was very backward country then comparison to today you can imagine how people used to live...
It played like as if the anthem was worn out and needed to rest, much like a burnt record, it eventually becomes replaced and forever played in the past─ everyone in that moment knew that during the turn of the 20th century, it was completely out of date, communism had not been achieved but this is as far as humanity had seen it go forward and it deserved the farewell it received.
Long live our Soviet motherland Built by the peoples mighty hand Long love her people united and free Strong in our friendship tried by fire Long my our crimson flag inspire Shining in glory for all men to see
i feel so sad to the great leader of the USSR. R.I.P Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev (the 8th and Final General Secretary/1st and only President of the USSR). 🕊✝️
Despite the mistakes that Gorbachev has made while leading the USSR, he was a true communist and what he did was what was supposed to be done ages ago when lenin lead this revolution and how it should have always been if trotsky succeeded him in power
Gorbachev had realized that the Soviet economy could not continue to be 100% state-owned. The market economy had to be implemented step by step to prevent the collapse.
@@dimitrism98 the changes were to radical that can distrupt the whole soviet government, china did a good job, china gives limited freedom of economy but in the same time still maintain strict power within the goverment, that's why china survive and even reach prosperity.
None of the soviet leaders after 1956 were communist... Gorbachev realised the imperialist monster that the ussr had become and dissolved it, but he wasn't a communist. Trotsky would have been fatal to the ussr, he was only an opportunist who seaked power
@@BinhNguyen-uw1tc We Indians understand the feelings of Vietnamese. USSR helped us too, they gave a nuclear threat to US and UK. USSR even threatened China that if they interfere in the war then USSR will attack Xinjiang. As a result India still exists as a country or else literally half the world would've bombed the $hit out of us and many countries would've been made out of India. With the collapse of USSR, India went into deep economic crisis in 1991 as we lost our biggest trade and strategic partner and we lost the scary navy that we built because it was hard to maintain it in economic crisis and now, China has started to challenge us in Indian Ocean.
@@improbablynotahooman5782 The Indians have a border dispute with China. I know, and I understand that. As a neighboring country to China. We were invaded by China many times. Up to now, we are still competing with China over the two archipelagos.
today was a historic day. the politicians from cold war era are finally dying (altough gorbachev really took his time to die), so we shall listen to them and learn from their mistakes before they are nothing but a myth and page in a history book.
When this comment was written our last true comrade Gorbachev took the hand of God and moved next to the place where the USSR is resting right at the LEFT side of God. Rest In Peace comrade... The US will never fear someone as they fear you and your predecessor...
This makes a man cry, and the perfect anthem for the end of an era, farewell USSR 🫡 and thanks how it helped india when everyone was against us, it will be missed for long time to come.
we lost the last leader of the USSR, He worked with the US to limit Nuclear arms and Allowed greater freedom in the USSR and in his honor, the anthem of the soviet union. Slava! R.I.P Mikhail Gorbachev (1931-2022)
Been 31 years. I got a Soviet officer cap for Christmas. The belt is on the way too. Building a collection of WWII collectibles. Looks good on me with my fur lined jacket and Stalin tunic. Btw, I'm not a Communist at all. I'm an American conservative. I just have a love for history and I'm learning Russian as well.
RIP Comrade Mikhail Gorbachev, Aged 91 He just today died from a long battle with an Illness as of yet undisclosed He worked with the US to limit Nuclear arms and Allowed greater freedom in the USSR .Slava!
Ich höre diese Hymne heute, da Staatspräsident Gorbatschow heute (3. 8. 2022) beerdigt worden ist und er am 30. 8. 2022 starb. Möge er in Frieden Ruhen!
While the USSR had many flaws, it was still a nation full of heart and power, and if everyone could just work together, and dictators die, then maybe the greatest workers union of all may have prevailed. Glory to the Soviet Union. Edit: I WROTE THIS BEFORE THE RUSSO-UKRAINE WAR BEGAN, I still think that the former Soviet Union could’ve been perfect had things played out alternately, however I do not support Putin nor his meek and foolish invasion and decisions to try and reacquire all the previous land. May all Ukrainians find safety
