Franco was the greatest leader of the twentieth century. Stalin killed 45 million people, and placed millions of more in gulags. Franco killed nowhere near a million people, and he fought against Communism. He saved French Jews from the Nazis by allowing them safe passage into Spain, Portugal, and later, the United States. Stalin put my great-grandfather's cousin into a gulag just because he was Jewish. Franco would never do that.
The melody that has been runinng for almost 80 years. From the Anthem of Bolshevik Party to The Anthem of the USSR to the Anthem of the Russian Federation. Wow!
There was an even earlier version of this melody based on a phrase uttered by Stalin in 1935; ''Life has become better, comrades. Life has become happier.''
It's amazing how this song stayed as the official anthem of Russia no matter how many changes it passed through. Amazing song and story of a great nation.
Translation: Free children of an unprecedented country, Today we sing our proud song! About the most powerful party in the world, And about the greatest man ever! Chorus: Surrounded by glory! Soldered by will! Grow stronger and live for eternity! Party of Lenin! Party of Stalin! O Wise Party of the Bolsheviks! Thou hast created the country of October on Earth, The mighty motherland of those born free! Our Soviet State stands firm as a rock, Born by the strength and the power of thee! (Chorus) The rotten breed of lowly traitors, You wipe from the path with a powerful hand! Thou art the pride and wisdom of the people, Thou art the heart of the people and their conscience! (Chorus) The sparkling genius of Marx and Engels, Revealed to us the future rise of the Commune! Lenin outlined to us the road to freedom, And the Great Stalin leads us along it! Glory of Lenin! Will of Stalin! Grow stronger and live for eternity! Glory be to the scythe and hammer! Now and forever! Long live the Party of the Bolsheviks!
My great-grandfather was a member of the CPSU from 1958 until 1992. He entered the party after de-Stalinization, and even then, this status was nominal. Being a member of the Party here in the United States is entirely different from what it was in the Soviet Union. In the Soviet Union, to be a member of the party does not mean that you are indoctrinated in the lies about Communism. You are not forced to submit to the ideology created by Lenin and Stalin. All you do is pay money to the party, and the party helps you keep your job. My great-grandfather was a factory director, meaning he was the definition of the proletariat. While he waited ten years before joining the party (he became a factory director in 1948), my great-grandfather was still close to the party itself in another way. He got numerous military awards from Leonid Brezhnev, Yuri Andropov, and Konstantin Chernenko. In 1987, he received a Thank You Letter from Mikhail Gorbachev. In 1993, he got another letter from Boris Yeltsin, and in 1995, he got a third letter from Alexander Lukashenko (President of Belarus since 1994). He never fought in the Red Army or in the Soviet Army. Those awards and letters he got were because he survived the Blockade of Leningrad in 1942. He may not have been a member of the party under Joseph Stalin, but he knew what Stalin was. His cousin was put in a gulag in 1947. My great-grandfather's cousin would have died had Stalin not bit the dust, as one of Georgy Malenkov's first acts of authority after Stalin's funeral was to free all the prisoners in the gulags, my great-grandfather's cousin among them. He lived long enough to see the new lyrics for the Soviet Union be adopted in 1977. My great-grandfather's cousin died one year later, in 1978.
@@user-tm1vb4wt4b Look at you, crazy. And of course you think Russia is the good side of the war. I don't think I can save you from the brainwashing. The meatriding is crazy
So great that it is still part of the current anthem of Russia. They tried another anthem, but this one just kicked too much ass, different lyrics of course.

I know your not lying because I can just tell by the pictures the the expression of the song and you can still hear a little stuff in there and these lyrics makes sense and are not all random
We came out of every war in ten years with an open forehead; In ten years, we created fifteen million young people of all ages; First of all, from the commander-in-chief respected by the whole world, We covered the homeland with railways We are Turks: our chest is the bronze bulwark of the Republic; It is unworthy of a Turk to stand still, the Turk is ahead, the Turk is forward! At a speed we stifle evil, backwardness, We rise like the sun over the darkness. We are Turks, we are heads that are superior to all heads; We existed before history, we have existance after history. We are Turks: our chest is the bronze bulwark of the Republic; It is unworthy of a Turk to stand still, the Turk is ahead, the Turk is forward! By drawing the map of our homeland with our blood, We relieved the country's years of mourning; We have integrated the fight for independence in every way.. The whole world learned to count Turkishness! We are Turks: our chest is the bronze bulwark of the Republic; It is unworthy of a Turk to stand still, the Turk is ahead, the Turk is forward! An example is the new trace we opened to the nations; We are a privileged, classless, cohesive mass: We obeyed the information on sight, we went to the ideal on the way. If the world turns upside down, we will not turn away from our path. We are Turks: our chest is the bronze bulwark of the Republic; It is unworthy of a Turk to stand still, the Turk is ahead, the Turk is forward!

Do you think they would have 'kicked Hitlers arse' if Germany was not fighting on the western front and north Africa. Also the massive amount of aid the Soviets received from the allies. Stalin was such a hero he went and hid for a week during the first week of the war. Didn't fight in WW1 whilst Hitler won Germanys highest award for bravery. Stalin killed his own people Hitler killed the enemies of humanity. No comparison
The only unfortunate thing is that the Soviet Union can never come back. There is a fundamental flaw in both Communism and the USSR: that it, much like what Marx tried to create, were unsustainable in the long run. The reason as to why the Soviet UNion existed in the first place was because Lenin couldn't see the problem, and Stalin's tyranny is what made it endure. However, thirty-eight years following his death, it was understood that the Soviet Union no longer needed to exist, which is why the only sensible option was its fall.
¡¡¡SLAVA KOBA!!! The Soviet Union just before World War II was quite possibly the most democratic society in history. Even anticommunist historians will concede that the party under Stalin made a genuine, organized, highly public effort to create a new system of direct democracy. This was chiefly done to counter the mounting local corruption that was even creeping into the party from the lower levels. Stalin's constitution was remarkably unpopular with most Party members, and it was only Stalin's sheer popularity and cult of personality that forced the referendum on the new constitution. It was to be Stalin's greatest achievement, a true democracy unlike any the world had ever known. A new political system that would all but guarantee that the Party would become incorruptible, for their orders would come directly from the masses who elected them. Then, the tragedy of World War II began, and this nascent direct democracy was destroyed. The Soviets endured the bulk of the Nazi war machine, lost millions of their best and brightest people, and had entire cities leveled. They never fully recovered from the war, and Stalin's constitution was never again implemented. Stalin foresaw that his historical legacy would be attacked, that the incredible importance of what the communists had accomplished in the lead up to the war and during the war, and the beautiful society that they were building, he knew that all would be obscured and tarnished as much as possible by the West. This is the only reason de-Stalinization happened, the corrupt bureaucratic elements he was always after knew that they would have to pass his constitution unless they did something drastic. So the "former" trotskyite Khrushchev buried his reputation in a "secret speech" that had no documentation to support it. They did it to protect their positions of power, and in turn the Party ossified and the corruption only worsened. I only hope that someday, in a much brighter future than now, that Stalin is finally remembered for the incredible good the party did under his leadership.
It is very valuable for us that at least someone not from Russia decided to understand the myths about Stalin and Western propaganda. Glory to the Soviet Union!
Khrushchev is a lying opportunist who wanted to restored capitalism and was a stooge for the Western imperialists. Anyone who commented the so called "fall" of socialism should use proper language and described it as the fall of *REVISIONISM* because capitalism is the bottom of the pit and you can't have any vestiges of it left. If Malenkov was General Secretary of the Soviet Union instead of the revisionist Khrushchev he would have liquidate careerists and opportunists out of congress and the USSR would still exist as a orthodox Marxist-Leninist planned economy and be a 1st world country, surpassing the US economy in 2005. But instead the opportunist Khrushchev and the revisionist successors with "Market socialism" oxymoron hurt the Soviet Union inside more than the capitalist hoards of the West ever could!
Fight for the communist ideology! Glory to the bolshvieks! The sparkling genius of Marx and Engels, the glorious achievements the USSR gave us! The great ussr shall always live on in our hearts! Glory to the C.C.C.P! Edit: hello everyone. I felt like I had to update this. I no longer use this account but after searching this video up by curiosity I found this old comment. This was made in a time when I was rather ignorant. After reading quite a lot of literature and the tyranny of Stalin (and communism)’s reign. I no longer support my previous statement. He was a tyrant and a dictator, and I cannot but reiterate on the absolute evil of this man, and the disgust I now have towards this video.
Karl Marx Well He Said the socialism could not exist without the Banks. The comunists did same thing than The right or liberals destroyed old european order, monarchy and the most important the Christian values, they put" relativism " as the masones, they say use to be open minded but exclusive for their ideals. I know a Jew sephardy become Christian, He was mason and told me, the zionists masonics financied comunism Lenin and Trotsky. Stalin was a nationalist bolshevik or patriotic socialist, He was murdered by People as Trokists. That video show anglo saxons living in countries Where there is not socialism, I would like Where and how much money they have. The funny, they do not live as my friends in Cuba or Venezuela, countries Where the State Does not steal only money from companies or Small bussines Men but too workers, Who live in countries Where the economy is interwied or interrupted by State, they are officials no workers. The New left as the link ask rights and live of the People Work but they do not want Work Hard for build as the People Worked in the gulags without a salary.

The Soviet Union was (officially) founded in 1922, and I often wonder, what would have happened if Lenin did not die two years after that? What if he lived to see World War II... then again, he's probably worse than Stalin.
Lenin wasn't as paranoid as Stalin. If Lenin didn't die in 1924 then there wasn't Leningrad it might have been changed to Trotskygrad and Stalingrad wouldn't have even existed, even Lenin's Mausoleum wouldn't exist because Lenin didn't die maybe.it's just an empty field and maybe Holodomor and Great Purge won't happenmaybe if Lenin led to World war 2 then he would instigate the greatest revolution in the history of mankind and maybe he would not take Berlin but also reach London and even Washington DC.
Lenin and Trotsky would still have push for Internationalism, which would prevent the Nazis from forming since socialists from Germany would have more control on their country. There would probably be a WWII instead between the Capitalist US and the Socialist USSR but Lenin would have been dead if that would happen.
@@AnthemRed I don't think so. If he didn't die in 1924, then Leningrad would still be Petrograd, and his Mausoleum would be in the same place as the other Soviet Leaders. He would never have reached DC or London, because he never finished what Stalin began.
