Supravat Mukerjee, Sarbari Roy Choudhury, Amar Sanyal, Ahmed Ali Khan, Atma Gidwani, Krishna Hegde, Gopalkrishnan, John Wilton and a few others. Unfortunately, some of my friends are no more there. I am uploading my collection for the for the benefit of music lovers, before it is too late.

अतिशय उत्कृष्ट वादन आहे अली अकबर खा की हृदयातून ऐकावे का असं वाटतं यामध्ये तबला कोणाचा आहे हे लक्षात येत नाही परंतु पंडित महापुरुष मिश्र यांचा तबला असावा असे मला वाटते रेकॉर्डिंग पण खूप छान आहे ओके धन्यवाद

Raga Jaunpuri reputedly cures a headache. ♪ It is a late morning raga. ♪ However, if you mistreat a raga by hearing it at the wrong time, it may cause your life to be shortened.

Karuna devi dasi when u listen to a song at night base on raag jonpuri will your life be shorten, when it sounds right its ok ,to hell with the norms

@@tulayamalavenapi4028 can your life actually shorten when listening to raags at wrong time ( I mean I actively do riyaaz of morning raags at evening as I only practice 1 raag only for a month) now im sacred xd my guru told me it doesnt matter now im sacred hahaha

I would not dare to call it a superstition but a strong belief held by some musicians. I have read from authentic source that when the brilliant sitarist pandit Nikhil Banerjee passed away untimely, Khan Saab was inconsolable and had himself lamented in his close circle that Nikhil Banerjee used to practice ragas on his sitar not at the designated hours !! I
