I dont know much about hybrid vehicles but I have a 2015 honda fit hybrid that wont stay in gear, the moment you lift your foot off the brake it goes back into park.

Mine is Honda vezel 2015 , At 20 kmph , 40 kmph and 60 kmph I get a noise. At other speeds I do not have any noise. Is it a gear box issue or dual clutch issue. And also it is not every time. Appreciate your expertise to let me know what exactly the issue is.

Very nice explanation. Just want to add that this problem is not only in Honda but also in VW, Audi, Hyundai etc. All vehicles using DCT. This is due to improper use of vehicle, driving style is very different than ordinary automatic. Dont let you vehicle crawl in stop and go traffic.
Assalamualikum. I can understand that this issue is a problem due to the DCT construction. As you mentioned not to crawl the vehicle in rush, so what should be done. I mean how to drive the car. One more thing sir, how can this heating problem me avoided?

Aoa. Bhai my car Honda shuttle 15 model loose acceleration at high speed. Usually at 7 gear. The more you press accelerator, the more it loose power. Then when we reduce speed and change gear manually, it gets better. Really worried. Kindly reply
I faced a similar issue. I drove my newly imported honda vezel RS 2016. 35k driven only. Drove it on 160 to 180 on motorway. Suddenly it stopped changing gear and upon acceleration nothing happened. I stopped my car, turned it off for sometime and then started driving and everything was fine. Didn't drove it on 180. Can you guide what to do?
What happens in "S mode" / engine drive only, does the transmission use one clutch to shift gears, or does it still function as a petrol powered dual clutch vehicle driving odd and even gears at same time? And in "S mode" the battery level sometimes drops, so does that mean the car is still driven by the electric motor (in some kind of assist mode) with the engine? Much is unclear about this system. It is very complex. And even people have reported that dual clutch system can fail in tropical countries with high heat and constant stop and go traffic. So I want to know if using "S mode" in stop/go traffic can prevent double clutch wear or system damage as if it only uses one clutch then this would by logic prevent constant switching back and forth in between clutches right?
Brother according to my knowledge in S mode car keeps it self locked between first two gears and use them as per requirement. So both clutches never get any rest.and the reason for battery drain is when the car engine exhaust it self to power the car to climb the steep. The charging system mounted in gear for hybrid battery gets cutoff and during brakes consumes the available charging only. And battery only gets charging via deceleration friction.
You have to give car enough rest time after such drives and must drive with break intervals. Hope it answers your concerns. Solely my personal opinion you may disagree
