My heart is pained to bear the loss of this great singer so young, while I live. I had the great pleasure and honour to host him for a concert in Montreal Canada (at Musie des beaux artes) in 1991 along with Pandit Jog. He left a lasting impression on me as a young musician of India! A great loss indeed! His song in Keeravani Rag is still in my ears!

Excellent voice! It’s the result of years of dedicated long hours of riyaaz since a very young age… this is a true musician, eats, drinks, thinks and lives music! He has given us this beautiful singing as gift to all his listeners all these years…. And now is training students and his son too! Pandit Bhimsen Joshi rightly said that Indian Classical Music was safe in his hands! He as a young musician has helped this wonderful style of music survive and spread amongst young crowds! His concerts are attended by both young and old, such is the magic in his voice and performance!!! May he live long and continue to give his audience the opportunity to listen to him again and again!👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

As a classical music listener for past 5 decades, I have not an iota of doubt that this is the all time best collection of bandishes ever published. The only comparison comes to mind is the legendary collection of Ustad Abdul Karim Khan, not in such perfectly clear recording. This would go to posterity as a part of eternal archives of Hindustani classical vocal.

Palakan Lagi mori Guiyan, in Raag Charukeshi is the marvelous piece of classical touch of Ustadji. Charukeshi is rarely rendered in Indian classical musical concerts. No wards can justify Rashid Khan saheb's level of classical singing. God bless Khan Saheb.

Worried about the future of our great classical music. Only a few are in the topmost grade like Ustadji. Though 1000s of new singers are seen and heard hardly a few reach the zenith and majority of the them have turned into bhajan singers.
