i am from india...i considered Pt.bhimsen joshi, amir khan and bade ghulam ali khan as the best singers...after listening to this...that too my favourite raaga...Ustad Salamat Ali Khan is added to the list in top
@@nikhiljha5155 salamat sahab ne unhe chhua bhi aur mashallah kya bakhoobi unse kadam kadam milakr gaate rhe.. ustad amjad ali khan ne kaha h ek interview m use sunnke dekhiye,ki jab bade ghulam ali khan sahib aur amir khan sahib ka daur tha tb unke beech m se chle aaye salamat sahib aur unka gaana chdhta chla gya aur unki apni jgh bnn gyi.. in do mahaan kalakaaro ke beech koi apni jgh tbhi bana skta tha jb wo khud bhi utna hi mahaan ho.. salamat sahib ka koi jawab nhi h.. unke jsa tayyar artist itni rooh se gaane wala kbhi paida nhi hua!!
@Engr.H.M Basir Ijaz PT bhimsen Joshi sirf apni taankari k liye jaane jaaye hai aur ustad bade ghulam Ali khan sirf thumri k liye but ustad salamat Ali khan aise artist the jinhone khyaal aur thumri dono ko hi bahut hi khubsurti se gaaya hai..iss BAAT ko samjhna chahiye sabko..aajtak salamat Ali khan saheb ne dusre ki banai hui thumri nhi gaayi..
H.M.Basir Ijaz I never said classical is bakra singing....going by your profile picture, I presume that I have got a greater exposure and experience to listening classical music than what your age is....what I meant was, that the vocalists of this gharana are characterised by such horrendous ‘bakra’ like taans....it was absent in this particular recording, which is a good thing.....
