Dude has fun when the sets are close. Dude has fun when he gets wrecked. Dude has fun when he's crushing his opponents. Dude just always seems to have fun!
He can't travel because of work and insomnia if you ask me for proof tloc said it live on stream BUT hes going to be at Low tier city 7 in dallas in July
He landed multiple PK Thunder 2s against one of the best players in the world, playing a character with arguably the best disadvantage state in the game. Awestin is a monster.
@@AdrianA-lr3gq i feel your pain pretty spot on.. can't sell my baby boi out, though. Ness has what it take. SSBU online is simply a different game, Sakurai jenked it up to shwankily. I can't even pass 4 million on 1v1, honestly I am pretty decent
lucabaar1 no I agree, he’s really good, except at really high level and certain matchups he just gets out spaced and edge guarded too easily. So even though he beats most of the cast certain matchups don’t feel winnable. I went to a tournament with him and both times I just got edge guarded hard when I lost. He feels like a gimmick, if they don’t know how to deal with him, and deal with forward air, pk fire and nair than they’ll lose, otherwise they will get stomped.
@@AdrianA-lr3gq those limitations are the reason for Awestin moving like he does. Ness is predictable due to being a little slow and floaty, pretty essential to be a hard- reading trickster. Stalling with magnet to fast fall into nair is one of the best mixups. Ness has superior edge guarding ability in most cases too, that pk thunder does wonders for gimping
awestine's play in ultimate so far has been ridiculous, esam himself said he's likely a top 20 player at least, hope to see him travel to some bigger events nationally
i need an online store that sells all of awestin´s shirts, they just keep getting better EDIT: If someone knows where he buys them plss reply, i cant find them anywhere :p
teezily(.com) has a few of them, I know it has the "kill your heroes, be gay, do crime," with spiderman on it. But the site is literal garbage, it's really hard to find anything on it.
Holy shit,Awestin's a god,I see top players fight him and say he can't win this one right...then I'm wrong and he shows how good his Ness is,I think we can all agree that Awestin should go to a Super Major Tournament sometime this year
What a great game, amazing players, and it's nice to see them being so friendly to each other, especially ESAM after the loss. Kudos to the commentators for keeping up to it
Um.... I'd say 20-30 yes he's good absolutely but in smash ultimate he doesnt really have the experience dealing with the high level players on a regular big tournament basis.
@@MrKuragari17 yet without that experience he takes out ESAM twice. Admittedly though, Esam and other top players don't have much experience against NESS. If Awestin went to more major tournaments other players would care more about learning the matchup.
Put him in a big tournament like genesis or evo and I have a feeling that's where we will see how well he does Hes a resident celebrity here and for good reason hes amazing but I have a feeling in a bigger tournament he may struggle and that's where he'll earn his "world" ranking
Awestin has had a few tournament losses recently and to see him have fun and win afterwards which is made even more awesome by esam's amazing attitude keeps my spectatorship tuned in.
When two gods duke it out in smash, there is never salt. Look at these guys holy fuck. Awestin.... I have never seen his inputs come out so fast and clutched. Esam really pushed his limits.
Love esam's reactions the last set I want a team Awestin jersey to wear everytime i watch him in grands lol His control and play using ness doesnt cease to entertain and amaze Love those pk thunder tackles too Exciting and.. Scary lol
I mained Ness in Brawl and Sm4sh, Big I started to drift away from Him and search for a new main in Ultimate. Players like Awestin helped me return to my old friend
Awestin is easily my favorite Ness player. He was my biggest reason for finally deciding to main Ness after months of confusion. Of course some honorable mentions are Fow and Bestness, but Awestin just styles so hard lol.
I'm confused about that last stock. Why did the pk2 hit esam with the front ball part, shock him, but keep on going instead of exploding and knocking esam back? Was it somehow really just the tail that got him cuz it goes straight into pikachu
I’m a die hard fow fan, but as hard as it is to admit, fow seems a bit behind right now in terms of being the best Ness. Awestin’s play is simply amazing, precise and smart. Very good adaption skills as well.
I heard Esam and MVD have a really close friend and practice partner who is a Ness main. If that's true this W is even more significant. Like, this is the guy who beat Tweek at G6...
*Hears “best of 5”* *Sees vid is 13 mins* *Esam wins first game* Damn ok, so I guess Esam takes it... *Awestin goes Super Saiyan and reminds me why he’s the best Ultimate player*
Dear uploader, I have a request and I think others might agree with me on this, could you make all the video lengths like 30 or 40 minutes and fill in the remainder of the time with whatever? Because if I see grand finals and it’s only 10-15 mins I automatically know whoever was in winners bracket is gonna win. As good as the match was, it would’ve been nice to have the suspense of not knowing what’s gonna happen.
This is such a hard matchup for me being a Pika main. My rival plays Ness and I get bodied by him most of the time, or I just have a lot of trouble getting around him. Think I might just pick myself up a Lucina/Marth soon.
