@@lasuava9342 I sure hope so, I'd be surprised if they would even be competetive against other female countries if those teams had the freedom to practice all day instead of having to work a full time or half time job on the side and basically doing it as an hobby. But right now it's literally a profressional team that does this as their only source of income vs teams that barely get any pay to play footbal. Just watching this is just depressing to see the faces of thailand that just got humiliated.

It’s the World Cup. All of these players trained their entire lives to play on that stage. If you worked your whole life for something would you go easy and not make your mark in history? I wouldn’t. Pugh scored her first and probably only World Cup goal in her life. Should she miss that opportunity that she worked for because she feels sorry for the opponent? HELL NO. The Thai knew what they were up against.

The most ever scored in a men's world cup was 11-0 in the late 80s I believe. The disparity in skill gap between women's soccer teams is so large it makes it so unentertaining. 2022 men's world cup there's already been multiple upset victories from underdogs leading to top contenders being eliminated. Now THAT is what I call tense
