Extremely long yap ahead.] now i already yapped in someone's comments in this video; the main reason for his comment is to bait a reaction to the creator of this video. also just to clarify; this is a mod, a real person is playing this and this is not an animation. comprising most of the things that would be considered weird: (1:50) a pile of dust where flowey would've been. not sure if this is an oversight on the developer's part; since flowey isn't a monster and would just turn back into a flower if he died, so this could mean anything. "It's as if someone swept all the dust in a room to this one spot" implies that this indeed isn't flowey, and someone has already started their massacre. additionally, toriel is absent throughout the entirety of the run; but the ruins are normal until the player chooses to grind out monsters to meet the genocide requirements. (2:10) "An odd feeling fills your chest at the lack of something..." the game is clearly not locked into genocide, as you have the choice to play a normal run. the player stays at neutral requirements until after napstablook; so the game remains mostly normal at around 2:30, the player attempts to interact with the sign, but receives nothing. it could just be that they fumbled the interaction hitbox somehow or didn't press Z, but why would they even bother looking at the sign? theoretically, you should be able to skip the dummy because toriel isn't present to block the way. (3:03) toriel isn't present to stop the first froggit fight, guide you through the spikes puzzle or ditch you in the long corridor. she also doesn't text you, which is important later on. toriel is quite important here. "what if she's the murderer?" not likely, i'll tell you further down this wall of text "was she killed already? what was stopping her from coming to the entrance of the ruins?" i have a theory; but toriel was not killed until after you entered the house, and i have a reason further below (which i already told someone in a reply at the comments section) napstablook's fight remains untouched. (7:17) there are only 2 frogs in the room i don't know if this is something base undertale does if you kill enough froggits but y'know finally; toriel's house (10:41). the house stays silent, with no music. (future plas here; creator of the video gave me a hint and "Empty House" is already playing the moment you enter the house; but it's almost completely quiet.) the pie is still warm; which signifies toriel was there recently. where did she go? (11:47) upon waking up, the house's music changes to "Empty House", a track that you only hear upon revisiting toriel's house after you kill her. the house was silent before you slept, which could mean toriel was murdered while you slept in her deceased child's bed. (future plas again here, the music simply increased it's volume rather than switching tracks.) (12:39) flowey is not present. this could imply that: -flowey is dead -flowey is disinterested in the human and is keeping an eye on something more important (14:08) "uh, what's that expression for? you look like you've seen a ghost or something, heh." this is NOT the genocide route sans's dialogue. sans remarking that the genocidal freak looks scared isn't good news. "though, i haven't seen him doing his rounds today." that's also not great news, which could imply that: -papyrus was already killed -papyrus was the killer (which could make sense as to why the dust from earlier was swept to flowey's room, and why the puzzles remain unsolved (since he can "fly") but it doesn't make any sense otherwise) sans then offers you his phone number.. but immediately disregards it due to your lack of a phone (since toriel gives you the phone normally.) additionally, you are now forced into the neutral/pacifist (if you didn't kill anyone) route; as toriel has been forced out of your hands. sans does not remark that you're a freak like the genocide route; but also does not remark that you turned around without him asking, like the genocide route. this could be because he's a naturally perceptive person, and linked the human turning around early to their expression; thinking they were just being cautious. now let's go back to the theory that papyrus is the murderer; because it's shown that there's only one left, further up ahead (acting as though you are in the genocide route). this could imply that: -toriel SOMEHOW survived and ran off to snowdin, avoiding sans (very unlikely) (future plas; toriel is already dead from the moment you enter her house.) -PAPYRUS is the one left, and killed everyone (also highly unlikely) -flowey is the killer -sans is the killer, and had enough time to hide everything because your lazy ahh decided to take a nap (unlikely) and my last theory: CHARA is the killer. (disconfirmed; 11:32) you reset right before reaching the absolute. this also means flowey does not die; so he remembers everything from the previous reset. i'll leave it at that. tl;dr: there's like 5 possible candidates for the murderer (flowey, [USED TO BE TORIEL], sans, papyrus & [USED TO BE CHARA]) but toriel, sans and papyrus are unlikely; and i recently debunked chara & toriel being suspects.

Truly appreciate your effort into listing (possibly) everything within the video itself, even if its a pretty long yap. I'll try my best to help theorize and pinpoint what's exactly (or might be) wrong with your theories by also putting out a yap that you can read in atleast 10+ Minutes (or less). -Toriel surviving and being still alive is very unlikely, like you said after napping it plays "Empty house" which Toriel might’ve been murdered that time.(Edit:according to the comment regarding 10:30, a soundtrack "Empty home" plays but can be heard slightly, which means Toriel might've been dead the whole time.) -Murder level isn't currently met as Toriel wasn't yet murdered for EXP which means Genocide route isn't accessible like you mentioned. - Narrator (Possibly Chara) still remains unknown about the previous genocide route and doesn't mention about them seeing stuff twice or atleast face abit of familiarities.(edit:they still also continue with their casual genocide dialogue during the gameplay.) -Flowey is absent like most of the genocide route. (Which previously mentioned happened before the player reseting.) But never seen slaughtered or atleast harmed once (since player never entered the throne room.) Flowey being the murderer can be supported though due to (maybe) either: 1. Flowey is trying to get back at "Chara" after been intimated/threaten while progressing into the judgement hall. 2. He's doing this of pure spite. -We can't consider Sans is confirmed as the actual killer due to a few more reasons/(another pinpoint section yippee!!!11!!1) 1. If we know sans, he's pretty lazy. Which he mightve not been that engaged into putting all the effort just to hide the murders from the human. 2. He doesn't know what's behind the ruins doors, he didn't even bother asking toriel. 3. Sans mightve just started his day as usual without Papyrus, thinking he'd be there soon which clearly didn't happen. He also does seem to appear thinking he was in a surprise sparring round like he told player/Frisk probably all I can do for tonight, it can be wrong obviously but yeah.
I love how the player actually closes the game and resets to bypass the "chara deleted the world and nobody remembered what happened once it was brought back" plot hole
oh yeah that actually solves everything because recreating the world is equivalent of True Reset and no one remembers, but when you just reset they do remember little things
I love that this feels like something that would EXACTLY happen in Undertale, right down to the gag of Sans giving you his number even if you don't have a phone.
I don't know about that, i mean this video doesn't have anything weird or out of place, but dusttale concept as a whole is so outlandish and out of character that i don't know if we can say it feels like real undertale, unless this take has Flowey as the killer, then it can definitely work much better than actual dusttale

one criticism i have to make is that when flowey is killed by the player in neutral, he just turns into a regular flower instead of dusting, even in geno he’s just minced into flower bits instead of dusting, other than that this is the most canon-feeling dusttale take i’ve seen so far
@@somerandommusicianSRM it's likely, after all, flowey would remember since he wasn't killed. Hell, maybe flowey's the one doing the dusting, but that'd be a stretch (funny coincidence there)
The killer is Flowey. Literally, everything points to him being the killer. Hell, even the credits at the end used 'Your Best Friend" but extremely slowed down, that and, Sans having nothing to do with the deaths.
@@nightmoro6905 Funny how people call Flowey weak when he’s the final threat of two routes in the game. Not to mention he’s the first threat in the game period (granted he gets smacked by Toriel, so I can’t really blame people for coming to that conclusion).
@@fearsearcher7303 eh, i feel something like "heals you 3x times your max hp" (example: 20x3, you're healed to 60 hp, 92x3, you're healed to 276 hp, but since this is dusttale, you wouldnt get that much lv because the enemy is killing other monsters, so it balances itself out) works better, i doubt that 99 hp is the absolute max hp for every human in-universe
I have a few theories on what's actaually going on: 1-it could be that flowey faked his death and the dust pile we saw earlier was toriel's which means flowey is commiting his own genocide run. 2-seeing how sans's dialouge changed significantly and the fact he walked HELLA fast after he's done talking with you is also very suspicious.
Considering that Flowey normally turns into a plain old flower and not dust on death, with both neutral and genocide show, both can make sense, but where'd be Flowey? Is he just dead and fully gone, and Sans is targeting the big bosses of each area despite having to go all the way in and out of the ruins to deal with Toriel and potentially Flowey too? Could've taken the chance to yoink some LV from Frisk if he's going this far to go in and out to kill just Flowey and Toriel, and potentially move her dust to Flowey's room, since she'd be there rather early opposed to when she gets there during the base game.
@@spearghost225 Snowdin says "1 Left" so every monster other than Sans and (maybe) Papyrus are already killed in Snowdin. This killer isn't only killing the main bosses, it seems. Flowey not being there as a regular flower heavily implies he is alive. Since the killer already wiped out most of Snowdin and Sans doesn't seem to know where Papyrus is, it is highly probable Flowey is either in Snowdin also looking for Papyrus and/or Sans, or somewhere further ahead like Waterfall if he is alive. A crazy plot twist would be the "1 Left" actually being Sans with Papyrus already dead, and Flowey kills Sans where Sans normally would kill Papyrus.

Gotta say, I love the element of mystery to this. You’re toying with a lot of expectations people in the UT fandom have with the start of many Dusttale takes, especially Evan Streblow’s take, which is the most notable. There’s the continuous suspense of wanting to know what’s different outside of Toriel and Flowey being completely absent from Ruins, or that the killer will pop up any moment along with the reveal for who they are. It’s an incredibly refreshing start for a Dusttale take, which is kind of ironic considering this is just Ruins, only with a few differences, but they’re incredibly noticeable. I’m really looking forward to what you have in store for this take, and I can only hope the mystery continues from here. As a Dust AU fanatic (and especially as a nerd of Canon Dusttale), you got me hooked.
What I find scary about this is 1.The pie is still there despite Toriel being clearly dead this gives me the impression that either the game broke cause Toriel is supposed to be there or *Someone told Toriel to make a cinnamon butterscotch pie* 2. We never go inside Toriel's room which is very much implied to be where she is dead... we are literally sleeping next door to a monsters remains entirely unaware of it. This take is so awesome and horrific.
I mean, the second point may be moot because we see dust at the start of the game. Flowey doesn't turn into dust when he dies, and it looks like a big amount compared to what even a Gaster Blaster could leave of him. Maybe that's Toriel, which is even weirder. Did Sans bring her all the way down to the start of where we fall and kill her and Flowey? If so, why not collect extra LV? Would siphon from the human's after all, right?
Oo something tells me it's Flowey whose been doing all this. It just makes sense considering A- He remembers resets B- We did NOT kill him in the previous run (we didn't finish it per say)
Hmm, what a coincidence. I actually had a dusttale idea recently. It.. wasnt exaxtly like this one, but the "something is off" idea was a part of it. Y'know, making the game look like a horror game and stuff. It's pretty funny that this appeared when I was thinking about it... well, either way, I'm looking forwards to see more of this stuff!
Flowey being the killer makes much more sense than Sans. For starters, Flowey is pretty good at sneaking up on people, so he would probably be able to easily kill the monsters, he also remembers resets, and finally, come on this is definetly something Flowey would do.
I'm curious to see where this is going. It seems like Flowey might be behind this, since someone left monster dust where Flowey normally is. It obviously can't be Flowey, since Flowey can't dust. Perhaps Flowey killed Toriel there?
A Dusttale Au that has Flowey for a potential killer is more better than Sans mostly cus of reasons involving remembering normal resets, his history of committing these acts during his time when he was in control of the timelines, and the fact that it seems totally in character for someone like Flowey to be doing this.
You are correct. The starting is very promising with the dust in Flowey's place. Toriel missing. Puzzled unsolved and all that. But moments later, it's regular Undertale minus Toriel.
This truly is an undertale, dusty. But seriously, cool execution. Could probably be made into a mod, which would be cool. Anyways, my theory is that Flowey killed Toriel and is either talking with, or killing Papyrus. Flowey has done numerous genocide routes before, and he knows how to do stuff. He is also, canonically, the one who can fully remember RESETs. Sans can have all the funky wunky time stuff or whatever, but he reads your expression, doesn't actually know for certain what's going on, much less what is happening specifically in those timelines. As for why Sans is alive? Flowey canonically is AWFUL at fighting him. Post-Photoshop Neutral dialogue supports this. He's probably trying to keep Sans in the dark so he has no problems to deal with. I also noticed that Flowey ( assuming he is the killer ) didn't bother with any random encounters in the RUINs, which I think makes sense. I don't think he can gain LV, only prevent you from gaining any. Thus, he's taking out the biggest sacks of EXP, and leaving you to grind the random encounters to waste your time. Apart from Loox, they don't give much EXP, and the player here didn't pick on him. All in all, I'm interested to see where this will go.
They straight up took THE WHOLE DAMN PIE. Would be kinda funny if that meant it works like the Bicycle where you can eat it multiple times. But that would warrant bosses hard enough for that to not be too overpowered.
maybe it's overall more healing than the pie, but split up in a way that makes each individual piece heal for less than the original butterscotch pie in undertale ((maybe four or five counts of fifty-ish instead of one count of ninety-two/ninety-nine)). worse for single uses in boss battles but better in a more universal sense

Flowey doesn't turn into dust, after all Also Sans is actually chill here? Which is like Sans, but... is it an act? Or is he actually not the one behind this? Could it be Flowey? i remember seeing art on twitter with flowey being the one to kill people instead in a dusttale au because, well, he’s the only character that can actually remember things. i really hope this is like that
Judging by the fact that Flowey can't turn to dust. That mean the dust we see at the beginning his Toriel's. It's the first place we see her after all. Meaning Flowey is doing his own genocide route. Why? Because he's bored or something, idk.
Considering we see the player reset? Flowey remembered how scared shitless he was of us and is at lowest preventing us from dealing with the biggest sources of EXP, or hogging them for himself at highest. Sans is a pain in the ass for him, hence why he's still alive
They say that the scariest horror is loud sounds, flashing lights, or a jumpscare. But for me, i would argue for the warping of something normal ever so slightly. Making something off. Someone or something missing. And its the fact of something uncanny and given no real reason in that moment as of why, that leaves you scared the most. And this take conveys it perfectly, especially when you reach Toriel's house and converse with sans in snowdin forest.

The idea is lovely so far, I absolutely adore the feeling of dread a regular player would have upon seeing the changes made in the game like this, the loneliness, the silence, it would be a great experience not too distant from actual genocide. My question is, will this mod be playable in the future when sections are finished? Something is wrong... Toriel is nowhere to be found, nor is Papyrus. You would have thought to meet Sans in the Ruins, or have the Toy Knife missing. But no... hm... Yet, Sans doesn't seem one bit flinched, and is still the same. Then, what happened? Seems like it'll stay as a mystery... for some time.
Perhaps he's just playing it more safe, making himself look like he doesn't know what's happening, attempting to keep you unsuspicious of him so he doesn't encounter you.
Well, maybe sans pretends that he doesnt know because he's worried that you'll start trying to kill enemies faster like a speedrunner if you found out.
Sans already grinded out all the monsters in the Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall and Hotland and is already LV 19. The reason you don’t see dust on his jacket is that he decided not to be lazy for once and got rid of it before Frisk exited the Ruins.
Maybe It's called dusttale because everyone became dust. The player didn't checked Toriel's room and her dust was nowhere in the ruins. OR maybe what i am saying makes no sense and the pile of dust you see at the start IS Toriel
I actually have a feeling that flowey is actually the one doing this. Not only that he doesn't turn into dust since he's a flower, but also has a lot of knowledge about saving and resets. And the dust at the very beginning is actually toriel.
I'm very curious what this AU is going to consist of, and the fact that in this first video it's not clear what exactly is happening makes me get more into this, I hope you can continue with your project! ;3
My theory is that rather than simply having Sans murder everyone in the Underground so you don't any XP, I think Sans might've taken the smart route and try to have everyone evacuate early since Sans already knows you are a murderer . That's why Toriel and Papyrus aren't anywhere to be seen with no trace of them. I don't know why Flowey is a pile of dust already though. But chances are since Sans already remembers what happens in the Genocide route or even the other routes, Sans might've killed Flowey just for precaution. Regardless, my curiosity has peaked and I'm interested to see what comes next.
If that's the case, why was the Ruins population entirely untouched? If Toriel was evacuated she'd almost certainly have tried to get at least some of the locals out too given her willingness to prevent Asgore's own death and philosophy of always showing mercy. Its kill count seems unchanged in this despite that (given the player doesn't feel the need to check the kill amount after triggering BNC to make sure they hadn't gotten the 20 needed yet). Also, if Sans was trying to evacuate everybody, even if he was keeping it on the down-low, wouldn't he have tried harder to stall the player at his first meeting to give evacuating later areas more time? Rope them into some other kind of comical shenanigan.
I’m more inclined to believe that flowey is responsible for the disappearances 1. Flowey is nowhere to be seen (normally when you kill him he turns into a normal flower ) 2. How would sans gain access to the ruins? 3. Going off of 2 the only other person who has access to the starting room is toriel, who routinely makes rounds through the ruins and waits for humans to fall down, thus being perfect timing to strike toriel, when she’s at her most vulnerable 4. Sans’s mannerisms so far suggest that he isn’t responsible at all and is clueless to the disappearances (he’s acting more passive to the player so far rather than giving vague threats like he does in the normal geno route)

I love how... off the ruins feel. Like, the core gameplay is very 'normal' but the fact Flowey and Toriel are completely absent... it makes the player feel.. nervous, and yet, the game itself, the whole killing monsters in the ruins is very.. normal. Too uncomfortably normal.. and even after leaving Toriel's house? The player may have thought: "maybe this is a weird secret route..?" But alas, Flowey is absent. And Sans himself is written to be.. eerily normal? I love the changes to DustTale here! It implies Flowey may be alive. But we don't know for sure. Love it! Keep the goddamn good work, or I'll beat you up!!! NGAHHH! nah im kidding.
I agree with some of the comments on how the player's actions do seem like a player actually playing the game, but I do have to wonder what their intention was with restarting the murder run again in the first place. Like, they've beaten every challenge it offers, already know the run well enough enough to reset before entering the Throne Room rather than seeing the ending through, and don't appear to be trying to speedrun. Did they know they had this mod installed that would activate as soon as they killed Sans and reset? Did they want to go back and refight Undying for some reason? I'm uncertain. The mystery of what's going on and who's doing it is interesting, though. Sans doesn't appear to be involved despite the buildup that he might be, and it wouldn't make much sense for Flowey to be either since the fallen human never actually ground him up since the player reset early. I'll probably be following this for a long while.
1) the player most likely reset to avoid getting locked out of true pacifist (if you do the ending and the chara cutscene your undertale is permanently altered to be soulless pacifist) 2) literally everything points at flowey being the killer: he survived, remembers resets, doesn't show up at all (the dust at the beginning is either a random monster or toriel) and killing the underground seems like a thing he would do (because he did, he straight up says he killed the underground but he couldn't get past asgore or sans)
1.) was more meant to comment on this definitely not being a blind playthrough, since they'd only know that returning after completing the murder run requires a soul-selling if they'd either already done it before on a different machine or been spoiled on it by someone else. However, the idea that it's for the sake of not ruining True Pacifist falls apart when they just immediately start going for another murder run after they reset. The reset clearly wasn't to try and protect and make it up to these characters. So my question still stands. 2.) But Flowey being the killer wouldn't make any sense for his character. In Neutrals, he likens us to a 'little monarch' and then outright states his 'plan isn't regicide'. He outright states in his murder run monologue that he got bored of killing everyone, and since "CHARA" never sliced him open he doesn't have a reason post-reset to feel like he needs to kill everyone to protect himself. Not to mention if him being scared by his sibling was an important part of this AU's lore, surely it'd have played out his monologue to give the viewers that context instead of just cutting (heh) to Sans getting shanked? Otherwise, to a viewer who hasn't played or rewatched the murder run recently enough to remember that it scared him, the eventual reveal that it is him would seem contrived without that context.
@@danwar2489 1) if you think about it, the player had zero reason to actually finish genocide (they are most likely an experienced player since they know how to do every ruins trap with not many issues so it's likely they know about how the chara cutscene works) while yes, they didn't go for true pacifist, it isn't out of the question that they were simply preserving it for another run 2) flowey survived genocide, and since he remembers resets he also remembers what happened during his monologue, he could very well be stealing all the important exp to make sure the player doesn't get stronger and is also distracted by the weaker monsters (killing toriel and maybe also papyrus while also leaving sans/asgore in the dark and sparing every other non-boss monster to distract the player) 3) this important bit was probably left out to mystify the killer, the whole premise of this mod is that it's undertale but something is off and revealing the killer would ruin that feeling
@@eggggyu5 1.) Making sure your Pacifist isn't Soulless only changes exactly one cutscene at the end of the game. My point is that if the player is playing multiple murder runs in a row, they probably don't care enough about these characters for the implication that the fallen human kills everyone in Soulless to be worth going out of their way to avoid. If they're doing it to avoid anything, it's probably just the long time you have to wait to scroll the fallen human's words or the ten minutes waiting in the abyss to actually get the chance to sell your soul. 2.) Again, though, why? The fact that they reset before actually making any real attempt to hurt him would reasonably get him to believe that his sibling was just playing a prank on him there to scare him. And even if they weren't just pranking him, what does he get out out of making their life harder? Not being made of magic nor having a SOUL, he'd be unaffected by Killing Intent (which is how LV improves one's attack power) and can't LV up himself (In the 'My World' save file in Neutral his LV is shown as 9999, probably because LV is psychological and the fact that he's SOULless meant the only initial block he had against killing was his old morals), so all denying them EXP would do for him is risk them actually trying to kill him this time with no impact on their ability to. 3.) Not really. The premise of this mod appears to be trying to 'canonify' Evan Streblow's Dusttale take (It starts at the exact same point with Sans getting 9999999'd, then opens with the sight of a pile of dust where Flowey usually appears), which itself makes no effort to hide who the killer is. And honestly, the lack of that if it really IS Flowey would make the eventual reveal feel much more contrived due to the lack of important information the user could use to figure out who the killer is.
i feel like Flowey wont would die in any dusttale AU (except maybe Dustbelief comic but this a diferent thing), he would on max fake he death for it because he kinda smarter than other monster and etc by some reason i thinked hen would say human... i remember your genocides in 13:47
This. THIS is what Dusttale was supposed to be. Not grindy, no sans based, but you can tell something’s off and that there are some hidden details too. I would love to see this expanded on
I LOVE this so far My personal theory is that flowey is responsible for this The dust at the start is most likely toriel.during one of her rounds around the ruins flowey probably killed her, most likely while she was most vulnerable. Sans being alive also points to this, since flowey has troubles killing the skeleton. Why would he? Because he’s the only other character who’s fully aware of resets, he’s impeding your progress so that he can fight you when you’re weaker.
I have 5 guesses on who the Murder is. 1: Sans. Pretty obvious choice that doesn’t need explanation. However something tells me that this isn’t about Sans. 2: Papyrus. Sans saying something about Papyrus training with Undyne seems to suggest it’s him who is the Murder. But i don’t think Papyrus could bring himself to kill and gain EXP and LV especially with his brother still alive. He would probably forgive the human for their actions and try to understand their power instead. 3: Flowey. Flowey could have faked his death with dust he gathered to make him less obvious. He is very capable of doing this after seeing the player leave before seeing Chara and angered him into doing this. This could also explain why the Murder is so fast that by the time the player falls, Flowey has already cleared out The Ruins thanks to his dig ability allowing him to practically teleport around and kill weaker monsters with relative ease. 5: Chara. Chara could have retained some/all of the determination and LV before the reset and was able to use that power to return to the underground and got up from the same flowers as Frisk did. They spent much of their time not killing monsters and saying hello to Toriel, but eventually they realized that the player would kill them all. They ended up snapping and went through with killing monsters themselves instead of confronting you. This allowed them to obtain more power in order to confront you. You could agrue that Chara never wanted to harm monsters but if the player’s fall was simply delayed after Chara left the ruins then this would make more sense. They didn’t kill any single monster and probably left nabstablook alive because they were a ghost like they once were. Also they probably couldn’t kill nabstablook either way. So yeah that’s my thoughts! Im curious to see who the Murder is.
Hmm nice. Dusttale where Sans isn't a murderer but still lazy and aware for something unusual. Very canon to Undertale. And I hope there's something good for this AU
for anyone saying it's sans the video seems to be pretty obviously setting up flowey to be the one doing all the murdering for extra LOVE considering sans is completely untouched other than the absence of papyrus (flowey mentions sans giving him the MOST trouble so he's most likely saving him for last and doing all the killing under his nose) which could either simply be papyrus being murdered or maybe something more considering flowey and his manipulative relationship with him regardless the dust pile at the start probably belongs to toriel considering the size (she's TALL) and the fact that it would take flowey the least time to betray-kill her and get the most rewards from it due to her crazy canon stats
I hope you make more of these, I really like the fact that you don't outright show that Sans is killing other monsters in the ruins Edit: I also like how Napstablook is still alive too, does this mean that Sans couldn’t kill him?
I have mixed thoughts on this. I’m assuming that flowey is the one killing everyone and not sans, which is a unique (?) approach. But at the same time, it takes away what made dusttale stand out, the fact that sans was doing it, the LAST character you’d expect. flowey killing everyone in cold blood is in character, yes, and something that would be cool to see. but it ultimately takes away from the impact of what becomes of undertale. i’d say more, but hardly anything’s out yet, and i see potential in this take either way
What I think is happening here is the timeline resets like normal but instead of everyone getting revived and getting their memories wiped, only Frisk, Sans and and a few random froggits for some reason (and maybe Papyrus) get that treatment leaving Sans at least somewhat sane.

@@maxunus6865 alright I checked it, before you take a nap, interacting with the full pie will say it was too hot too touch, if you interact it after you take a nap, it simply say the size of it making you feels threatened too eat all of it, both has no Specifications of what flavor it was
@@dynamitoriel9056 alright, we got an evidence that Toriel made that pie in the video for herself, but as for no specification of the flavor i'm "almost" sure that Toriel said, that pie she baked for us had cinnamon and butterscotch, in it. Although, maybe im remembering something wrong
