Note to self: If I ever get to the point where I tell friends/family that "If anything happens to me, look at my wife!", it's time to get divorced... ASAP.
the book part is so disturbing on so many levels. i feel incredibly sorry for those boys for having such a selfish human as a mother. i hope they’re doing okay🙁
Her former sister in law stated in court that Kouri even disclosed the boy's names in the book. I can't remember if she included a picture. Why would a mother put private info about her boys out there? SMH
Apparently the book is really creepy in general with how she tells her kids that their dead dad is following them around constantly, watching everything they do, even in private, which is a very unhealthy thought. She’s saying their dead dad is basically haunting them, and definitely engendering a feeling that they can’t relax and need to be hyper vigilant that they always "behave" or "dead dad will be angry!" There’s a difference between telling a bereaved child that their departed parent is benignly watching over them, and her book which implies that they’re being stalked by a ghost!
Her attorney is a high profile lawyer who probably like publicity of representing her but evenutally the relaitionship went south, as the attorney had to know there was little chance of winning that case. She does like the limelight too.
She could'nt afford the firm any more. For her to be considered indigent and choose to go with a court appointed lawyer after the other firm dropped her tells me she ran out of $ and the firm made the decision to stop representing her.
She tried to hire “the best” because she thinks she deserves everything this life has to offer even if it means committing murder. That’s a dangerous woman.
@@rhondaalbrechtyeah cuz they were smart and didn’t just say “it’s cuz she can’t pay anymore”. They claim it’s a conflict with the civil case, which they also withdrew from. From what I read an account was discovered w 1m in it in that case (sounds like it was to pay her lawyers). Now they no longer have access to it and peaced out
Kouri’s mom did the same thing to her ex partner in 2006 and collected the life insurance (allegedly-she was never charged but it was a suspicious overdose) I think her mom either helped her or Kouri saw her get away with it and decided to do the same thing 🤔
It not Utah. Utah is one of the States that allows live broadcasting on hearings, trials. Florida, Idaho, Wisconsin, Nevada. are a few other state that the judges allow cameras in court rooms.
I agree but it sounds like he was staying for his boys and because she was going to try and milk him for everything that he had. Regardless, I certainly wouldn’t ingest anything that she gave me.
I'll never understand someone who suspects someone of attempting to cause them harm, to the point of using words like "If something happens to me..." purpose for staying with that person could possibly be~! You could not convince me that someone capable of wishing me harm is someone worth waiting for to change. People if something like this happens to you,, leave ASAP. Don't eat or drink anything from that person and try to get your children into protective custody in the meantime.
I don't have a problem with sponsors, but I really dislike this transitions. Like did she have a criminal record? How would a background check on her have saved him? It's just so predatory to use this fear tactics and disrespectful to the victims.
I like this channel a lot… but yeah, that transition is super forced and sort of implies that a background check would have saved this mans life somehow.
The thing is that I'm not just talking about a single video, this has been going on for a while now. It doesn't matter what the facts of the case are, everything gets twisted into this "if only they used today's sponsor" and "if you don't want this to happen to you" type of transitions to a sponsor. They used to do these things in ways that weren't designed to be this manipulative.
@@Eeveelyn I agree. Trying to shoehorn a sponsor into every narrative being told, like it could have saved you from that specific crime, feels disingenuous and a titch disrespectful.
After hearing about Kouris Mother and her Girlfriend dying from an overdose and received the insurance money, I feel like she was a part of Erics death too.
Her first defense lawyer was looking out for her interests even after she had a new defense team by calling out the privileged jail calls being compromised. This was after she was called names by Kouri Richards. She sounds like a very competent defense attorney that didn't want to tell Kouri what she wanted to hear. How long does everyone think it will be before her present defense team asks to withdraw? Any guesses.
There were so many people bashing her attorney. I, for one, think she's fantastic. She's smartly dressed, her hair is done and she has a definite presence. Considering the tatty, unkempt, roots showing, messy hair I've seen on too many female judges, she could teach them a thing or two about professional appearance in court!
Every time I see this case. The only thing I think about is, why did this man stay in that house with her? He told people, he suspected she was attempting to murder him. If I’m suddenly feeling sick (with no explanation and it’s continuing) and I suspect anyone is attempting to poison and murder me, believe me, I’m already gone. Wife, mother, father, girlfriend, brother, sister, friend, best friend, anyone.
Instead of blaming the murder victim, as a society, we need to educate ourselves on the destruction abuse does to a person. It"s complicated and no one ever thinks it will happen to them
Writing a book and going on TV to promote it after killing her husband shows how disturbed this woman is. She couldn't lay low, she drew more attention to herself. True narcissist
Another defense team who wants to object everything that the prosecution brings to trial? That happened with the Parkland shooter case as well as the crazy guy who represented himself after killing 6 and injuring over 65 people by running them over with his truck during a parade. Her lawyers are dropping out of this case? Then they will claim she was denied a speedy trial and must be let go like with some other peoples “trials” that didn’t get to court quick enough
As for the phone calls - that's entitely on her attorney!!! Attorney can't refuse to use the app needed to maintain confidentiality then claim its not confidential!!!!
Well done Kouri oh you are so much smarter and better than everyone else , to treat your legal representative's in such a manner , only shows you up for who you truly are , narcissistic and EVIL
@@alandagray7937nah she was trying to flirt with the judge, but he didn't seem to entertain her .. Btw her name is Skye Lazaro, and she's a trip herself 💯
It is pretty weird her lawyers are suddenly deciding this now...they have been dealing with the case long enough to know what they are getting into...very strange to get cold feet now 🤔🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄
No, it's neither weird nor strange. She appointed her own attorneys, they have sent her monthly invoices for services rendered, which she has failed to pay. KR is also being sued for $12m, in another civil case which these attorneys were representing her, again the attorneys haven't been paid for this. They realise they will never receive their fees.
Would have been funny to question her brother, record it, to see what he says n then show him the letter. It was not a fiction book n it was witness tampering. Of course the jury prolly won’t get to hear this info. Makes me mad.
I am so glad we won't be subjected to the prissy antics of ole hair-tossing Skye Lazaro. And now Kouri is indigent, so we the taxpayers get to foot the bill for her legal counsel. Ugh. Lock her up and throw away the key!!!
They had three kids together. You want him to just POOF! leave them behind? Everything changes when you’re married with KIDS. You make it sound like it was a no-brainer 😂
Dang dude. I wish you would’ve left….or set up cameras in your home, or just didn’t eat or drink anything she handed to you. I would’ve been eating out till I gathered evidence.
See I think she was going after him but I didn't think he entertained it it. Maybe they hooked up and that's why she has a conflict of interest now 🤷🏻♀️
I have no doubt that the defense attorney refused to use the proper tool as a defense strategy. They know what they should be doing. If not, they are not qualified and are violating the ethics of competency. This is a bad faith motion.
Another saint bites the dust! Didn't she research VIP treatment in prison? I like how she keeps staring into space like she's scared he'll come and give evidence.
