The traditional fight song was there first, and many Ute fan's family members and ancestors graduated from there, would like to continue that great legacy of traditions, and are very proud of their traditions and their school! So if that offends you or any other feminists; go cheer for some other team! I'll have you know that my grandpa graduated from there, (who also grew up on those traditions, and we shouldn't have to change some of the lyrics just because it personally offends you or other feminists)! And actually, the majority of the Ute fan-base still sings the traditional "Utah Man" fight song! Only very few people around the campus have sung the new and lame version called- "Utah Fan"! The whole point of "Utah Man" was because of a group of Utah football fans who sang their own lyrics one day, at a Utah football game at Colorado, (in the early 1900's), and that song became so popular to the point where the university and all the fans wanted to make "Utah Man" the main fight song for the school, (instead of "U of Utah", which is now the second and mini fight song for the school)! So since traditionally that football was a man's sport, (and still is, to this day), and because the "Utah Man" fight song is technically for the Utes football games, (even though it's used for all Utah athletic events); it makes a lot more sense for "Utah Man" to be played, especially because it goes along perfectly with theme of the Utes football game going on! So feminists need to stop whining because this has nothing to do with a matter of women's rights, or "sexism", or being "sexist", as you would probably call it! This is just simply a fight song and a tradition that is supposed to be for fun! And there are actually a lot of women Ute fans at the school who love the traditional fight song, and are not offended by it! Go Utes!

These 3 teams/programs, and their fans have not only been super obnoxious, but also, (whether if it's their fan-bases being dirty assholes, or whether if it's the players being dirty assholes, or whether if it's the majority of these organizations and athletic staff being unprofessional and dirty assholes! Especially USC! Although I dislike byu the most.....not just because of the rivalry, but mostly because of a very big crowd of BYU fans, players, and Provo locals/natives who the majority of them (as we obviously know) are the "holier than thou"/self-righteous, and snobby type of people, (at least from my experiences anyways)! And ASU has been the main and obnoxious thorn in the Utes, (on the competitive stance, and struggling to beat them consistently throughout the years)! Thankfully, the Utes beat ASU last season, and hopefully the Utes will do it again, this coming season, and in future years to come, and consistently! Go Utes!
God I hate this song! It's well done but man I hated hearing it for years at the MWC Tournaments. I am a New Mexico Fan. I miss the rivalry with Utah! It was a lot a lot of fun! We miss the Utes!
@@rmichels05 They're a mixture from what I've seen. Some are Mormon, others are the so-called "Gentiles" (since they are of course the public school). They cuss and act more typical college folks.
