@@ludicrous7044 everything in the suspension is basically solid u take the top a arms and jack the car up and weld those solid to the frame usually the spindles are aftermarket solid ball joints and all the rear is a braced postal mopar rear end im guessing thats what he runs now the object of the game is ur playing bumper cars aggressively and the last one to make a hit wins takes lots of smart driving but not so smart good win on both here and the 4 man team hats off to ya buddy ur a hell of a driver
Someone needs to bring back the smash up derby cars like those from the past. I remember playing all day with the S.S.T. smash up derby cars as a child. All of my friends received one that Christmas and on the day after (and summer afterwards) we held a derby out on the front porch. What a hoot they were to play with. The speed demons were also involved. I believe someone even tried the evil conevil chopper in to the mix. 😆 fun time was had for sure
Yup, I got the Tough Tom vs. Bug 'em set in '74 or '75 for Christmas. Even when all the pieces were lost , they were still fun to play with as a kid. I think it may indeed have been the only toy that was by design, was intended to be "broken" if you were playing with it properly. Thanks for kicking that old memory loose Randy!

7y ago, I knew Robby talked like the rest of us occasionally, before the wholesome and the channel, what happens in the derby pit stays in the derby pit , unless you catch it on GoPro and post it on your channel 7 years later. Just having fun, dig the derby footage, guess it's warming us up for when the channels release their footage of that team Derby event.
Did anyone else see the kid steel a piece of Robbie’s car..lol he tried the steering shaft first then took some trim off the top of the car..lol he probably showed that off to all his friends. Robby seems humble but also wants his place, works for his steak, and if u hate on that..well u are not an American..lol love the Layton nation
Robby this is a great video. I know morr said they used to do derby’s too. Please y’all get together and do some derby’s again and make some videos. With some editing and outside shots y’all could make a great series or building the car tips and tricks and then the derby video. It’d be awesome! It would also bring in new fans and possible viral videos
Maybe go over some of the signals you’re giving other drivers. Go over the transmission you’re running and how there no lock out on the shifter so you can shift faster the required door bars. Just some idea. I have no clue what goes just some guess and things I saw while watching that maybe you could talk about
@@RobbyLayton They are just crying about a few muffled words said during that timeout , when you and others were talking about what happened. I know you keep a family friendly channel so if a curse word is muffled in the background at a loud, noisy and chaotic derby event, it happens.

Looks like they needed a promoter First of all chicken shit holding while your buddy rolls them Should have been DQ'd! second of all the blue car to your right made MANY love taps ( but legit hits ) after your car quit, Looks like you had a good car but you need to learn to place your bullets (Make all hits count A frames Axles etc) Doors and bumper hits to the competition are a waste of hits for your car
