UTCT 35km misty conditions on #tablemountain
I did this race with an injured foot. I was diagnosed a month before with plantar fasciitis and the day before the race I couldn't walk - my foot was in so much pain. I still showed up on race day and did my best - 11th in Vets category, time 5:35. I was aiming for 10th place, 6hrs - so happy with overall finish considering the injury.

so passing on a single track, that not a thing in races? whats the protocol?

David, you can certainly pass on singletrack and the guys will give way if you let them know you're coming through. I however was running with a foot injury and decided to stay at the back. Also that section after Mclears was extremely slippery so didn't want to risk it.
