What a pain, but glad you got everything fixed. Hopefully you won't have to change it again for many many years.

I remember helping dad replace his well pumps at least a half-dozen times. They looked like torpedoes and had to be lowered way down into the well. Then he had another pump similar to yours for added pressure.

Thanks for sharing, good thing you can fix things up yourself... That would have been expensive to get a plumber out...
