When i took the print to the plotter and followed all the steps, the machine read the id cut lines fine i hit REMOTE and it began to cut from about 19 inches offset of where the print was located
Hi, We are trying to create a sticker with a kiss cut and perf cut line. Is this doable with the CGar130 and the cutting link plugin? For some reason it is reading both lines as perf cut lines.
Hello! ID cut can only send over two cut conditions through to the CG-AR from a print and cut machine that has access to the cut edit menu. If you are printing and sending information from any of the 100 series machines or a JV printer then the ID Cut information will only send over one cut condition because the cut edit menu is greyed out and you cannot select two cut conditions to be called out. You can send two cut conditions to the plotter using FineCut9 but it will not utilize the ID Cut barcode doing it through FineCut. Also, if you are wanting to send the two cut conditions over from FineCut9 it will probably be best to create the registration marks with FineCut9 instead of RasterLink7.
Hello, this machine looks great. Some New useful features to my CG SRII implemented. How long will the rubberline last (geting repeatable quality) wenn using halfcut like the shown example?
Hello, if you are referring to the CJV300-160 then yes! The CJV300 Series has the ability to use ID cut and the Half cut function to cut through many printable medias similar to what you saw in this video.
I was wondering if with a CJV150-75 we need a cutting machine or does the plotter already has this full die cut function for stickers? Because all I find is that the printer only half cuts the sheets and we need a solution to make full cuts individual stickers. Thanks!
The CJV150-75 offers HALF CUT which will allow for fully cutting out stickers with small tabs that hold the sticker in place during the cut process. Afterwards, the stickers can be removed with minimal effort.
Pressure will depend on how far the blade is out. Please take a look at our CG Series video where we explain how to setup your blade pressure ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AdU-vaWF3h4.html
Hello, we would recommend using our UJV100-160 or UCJV300-160 if you want the plotter included. UV ink has an opaque white that will allow for layering on clear decals.
