This is sooo inspiring to me. As a 56 almost 57 yr old trail runner looking to run my first ultra I take Courtney Dauwalter on my runs. When I hit my hardest and when I feel like quitting, I always tell my self: "You have the heart and soul, the mental strength, and the passion of Courtney! And I always pull through! She is the Michael Jordan and the Kobe of trail running!
I love that you think that way and I’m not saying it lightly. Some of these feats are hard to relate to but I respect the fact that you see this and think “I would love to do that” 🫡✌🏽🙏🏽
Overall a relatively good recap but some key mistakes in the chronology! Some of the clips are not in chronological order - for example Jim overtook Zach on the descent from Alpage Bovine to Col de la Forclaz but directly after that the shot is of Germain and Jim at Champex-Lac, which is before the Bovine climb…
Courtney and Jim, 2 of the best and most beloved ultrarunners on the planet. Greatest ever along w/Kilian Jornet. Speed, stamina, and skill is unparalleled.
UTMB coverage video wise was great! However we never got to hear the sounds of the race ..well except the 30secs or so at the finish. UTMB broadcast could learn from this! Best ever! I watched UTMB from 10:00pm until 7:am. Commentators were non stop talking over the race & sounds of the race. :(. You made up for worst coverage audio ever!
