Let's go on a journey to explore the beauty of the world by running!
We invite you to watch a story about sports, culture and history in "Discover the World through its Marathons", the running documentary that aims to inspire people from all around the world to start running.
In this episode you'll get to find out everything about UTMB 2017 (Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc) - the World Summit of Trail Running.
It is, by far, the most difficult episode we filmed - the weather conditions were awful and we experienced several problems because of this, but great memories were made during bad days. "The harder the struggle, the more glorious the triumph"!
8.000 runners from all around the world meet in Chamonix for UTMB, while over 50.000 fans support the ultramarathoners. The main races are: UTMB, CCC, TDS, OCC, PTL.
Episode encouraged by Hoka One One, Compressport, Garmin, Neffos by TP-Link, UNIQA Asigurari, Discovery Romania & World Class Romania.

The best video I have seen about the OCC (and I have seen many !). Congratulations Radu for the race and for this beautiful video. I was running this OCC as well in 2017, the same day as you did !!!

I did run the OCC - First ever Mountain race and it was great fun! Managed to survive and finish in one piece despite the weather. Got the bug and looking at more Mountain races next year although living in the Netherlands and I'll need to find some decent elevation for training!!!

That's right, the OCC this year was a thing of survival! God, it was difficult! :D I invite you to run in Romania, we have plenty of beautiful races in the Carpathians. Check out the Retezat Skyrace documentary on the same channel. You're gonna love our mountains! :)

I remember i saw your finish on live stream! ( I was watching the live stream because a friend was running). I remember your energy and enthusiasm. I am so happy that i have found your video. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful experience. At the moment i only run marathons but hopefully I will be able to run a qualifying race next year and the OCC in 2 years-time. Let's all keep running and making this world a better placee :)

Cred ca ti-a fost cel mai greu de pana acum sa filmezi acest maraton, din cauza cetii, care te-a facut sa iti iei alte repere de orientare si prezentare a traseului decat cele vizuale. Tot respectul, admiratia si stima pentru ceea ce faci. Esti un creator de continut video de top pe RU-vid! In locul tau, as vorbi cu "the team" si as face un making off cu "the script" si procesul acestor video-uri. Cu cat vom intelege mai bine cat de multa munca este in spate, cu atat vom aprecia mai tare. Share, like, comment and subscribe!
