As An Asgore main Yes Its difficult BUT He is a situational character,Predict their attacks for example charas grab Trident 1 or 3 to counter,integrity Trident 2 works well but requires counter but for a more skilled attacks that i frankly from what i see,Have invented to extend an asgore combo, which i can tell if asked since im tired of typing already,He's easy to use if you know what your doing
One more thing that i say makes asgore better because i,again seem to be the only one to do and its to fake out your fire 4 with fire 3 similar animations different attacks,My Best tip for him is.....Be creative with his attacks and fake outs dont be a full on rusher be a punisher.
I decided to be an Asgore main, but I'm easily countered by characters like Frisk/Chara, I'm still starting out and I still have around 55 kills, but I believe that as I become better, I won't have so many difficulties with these type of characters anymore.
Its never really good to main asgore, I just play it for fun but if you want to win more fights I suggest you main Frisk and Chara as they deal tons of damage but aware they also has poor defense, or you could main Jevil.. it works either way.
@@onefortworth Asgore basically deals a ton of damage on phase 2 (burn effect) Asgore can melt ANYONES hp with burn, making GOH asriel look like fodder after dealing 50% of their hp with one combo involving 5. Asgores fakeout 1 and trident 4 is basically a free stamina drainer and you can use his stamina punisher to deal some serious dmg, Not to mention his LMB is decent and his trident 3 is a free combo starter that CANT be punished, and can also give enough distance to use a fire move if not blocked.
