Time for me to return for a visit to The Netherlands. It's been 4 0, count em...FORTY YEARS since I've been to Utrecht!! My EDIT: Oops, I insisted my husband-to-be take me again in 1985, when he asked what I wanted for my 30 birthday!! Lucky me! He was amazed at the amount of bicycles. Everyone so physically fit riding to and from work everyday. While there, he constantly hummed the tune from the music from the Wizard of Oz when the Wicked Witch of the West rode her bike in the film! He thought himself very funny. Does anyone bother to lock up their bikes, or is everyone "in the same boat" and no one bothers because they trust each other?
Thanks for the tour around town. I visited for a weekend while deployed during Operation Desrt Storm while stationed in Germany for 5 months. I would love to come visit again to see more of your beautiful country. 😊
