I love that you make these videos because you love Japan and love your viewers, never stop because people like me can escape into your videos and that’s a good thing for me haha. I’ve been sharing your channel to all my friends and everyone has been hooked on your videos :)) much love
If you were looking for the apartment that the Amity teachers lived, you missed it by about 100 metres due west. It is right by the soba restaurant. Shaped like a staircase.
late but happy anniversary to & also, love the subtle shade @34:50 took me a second to figure it out but chuckled once i did (onward to bigger & better things)
John, new sub here, you're very enjoyable to watch. Back in 02, I lived up in Nishinasuno and taught at a few different schools around the central to northern Tochigi region. I used to walk along that exact same sidewalk to Parco, thanks for the stroll down memory lane. What happened to Mr. Donut across from the station? After moving down to Saitama, I realized just how boring Utsunomiya/Tochigi really was.
In the US we have Carvana, which is a parking garage tower where you rent cars. Also, we have the Marina City towers in Chicago. In Brooklyn, NYC, there is a parking garage carousel.
Thanks for the stream, went to Min Min by the JR station back in 2019, but I heard it is closed? Visited the Oya museum as well, very interesting place for sure.
This is a great, underrated stopover on the way back from Hokkaido. My wife and I ate at the mama papa gyoza place John showed at the beginning on a rainy night, very romantic.
Very enjoyable video John! So interesting, with a short bike ride, followed by a good walk through a tranquil urban ambience. Well done! Thanks for sharing 👍
This is why bike share is so important to have wherever you go. Most people will probably not want to travel with their bike. Even bringing a Brompton with you will get annoying after a while. So it’s incredibly useful to be able to quickly take a bike when you arrive somewhere.
Enjoyed the walk. I was able to follow along on Google Maps your entire walk until you went up to the shrine. Gyoza sounds really good right now. I'm hungry now. lol Take care John.
Love exploring by bicycle too! Especially in this situation, you can avoid crowds and of course, this season in Japan is perfect!! (I'll definitely go cycling this weekend since last weekend was rainy and I missed it) Thank you John for another fun vlog😊✨
This was a fun livestream, John! I love love love gyoza. But not as much as unagi! After watching this I started craving gyoza so now I'll have to go and get some. Lol!
always good to have birds nesting swifts will come back every year. the alley..this cannot be Japan. you have gained more blessings going to the shrine. poor gyoza turned into stone waiting for you. have a great evening with missus and Leo
john still salty with his old employer, the mood swings in the streams make sense now, new channel didn't grow as fast as he thought and old channel moved on without him, it cut him so deep that the happiness of a new born didn't get the hate out of his chest
