Love you guys, your videos have inspired us to travel to sand hollow and gave us the confidence to ride these trails. We will be back at UTV takeover this year! I do have one question for you. Are you guys still running the OBORs in this video or did you switch back to the rockzillas? Getting ready to buy some this week for the trip.

Haha we should have done a better job on the filming from the very beginning.. we just get in the zone when we got 25 cars to get through a trail. Fun day for sure!

Why does the X3 struggle on rocks?

Wrong tires/high air pressure/front sway bar connected… don’t help, but they also have kind of a springy front end and struggle to maintain traction on the front end when vertical. However, when set up correctly, they can do well

@OffCamberInd I feel like I built for it, XMR with the low low, ibexx clutch and 35's, now sway links,... but I seem to break the tires loose and like you said it wants to bounce when I need to be planted. I hope to ride Sand Hollow with Off Camber someday.

Here comes attempt #4 and I think it’s a winner! You guys wanna ride next week? I’ll be riding in my new maverick R (on 32s unfortunately). It’ll be quite a bit different from what I’m used to driving which has been my defender 6x6 for the last 2-3 years.

Them boys in the Can-Ams showed up with the wrong tires. 🤦‍♂️. Not sure what they are running or thinking. It looks like more of an all terrain road tire. If you want to play on the rocks and not put yourself in some bad situations then you need a good rock tire out there. Was that their first time doing something like that?

Some of them had been out in the rocks before, others not so much. Pretty much any tire will get you by if needed, if you air down enough and get rid of the front sway bar. But certainly not ideal
