Great job being efficient with every movement and making that sales aisle section full of product. Why does Dollar General build so many stores? Seems like they compete against themselves and not a great business model.
Heard that if a DG store starts doing too much volume, they will build another one close by to alleviate the strain on it. This particular store was a replacement store. There is an old one that is closed right across the street.

Yes sir… i’m back working for the master distributor again. I would love to pursue buying a route, as there are two of them for sale about an hour and a half from me, but right now their sales are really really low (however they have a ton of potential for growth), But it would take a good while to get either route doing as much as the one I run for this guy, and he pays for all of my expenses, except for handheld, warehouse space, truck insurance and gas. I’d love to own my own route, but I would probably have to get into doing bread to be able to make the kind of money I would need to make the payments and still have a good living. At 49 years old I think I may be a little bit too late to the game for that
