I seen The Hu live in Belfast and they had such a diverse crowd, teenagers to people as young as yourself. That's what I love about music, it brings everyone together ❤
I'm 73, was a recording engineer for 2 decades, and really like the Mongolian hard rock. I discovered Hu Band several years ago. I will have to add some of this to my collection.
It’s not just the language, you, silly. It’s the ancient art of Mongolian throat singing applied to the music style that was BEGGING for it for decades. I am so happy to see it finally happening. Was waiting forever!
Throat singing was a complete wake up call for me! I've been on a hunt for it for about a year now. All of the differences are just incredible. My favorite right now is a badas$ woman from a tiny island off the coast of Scotland I believe. Her name is Eivør
@@user-ng9gd4vl9s I’m not sure to whom this is asked? I will answer it though 🙂 I’ve been listening to the Hu for a couple of years now. There is a great video of them in what seems to be “the performance position” in the embassy playing one of their songs and the room is full of what looks like just people off the street. SO LUCKY! Their videos are like mini-movies. So I did a google search, wrote down some names to listen to. I wanted a good mix of the types because they all truly sound different. The lady I mentioned in a different post here I did not know about until a few years ago. I recommend reading the translation first and the watch the live performance with the danish orchestra the lighting is part of the performance!
These Mongolian bands do not even bother to sing in English but still manage to be ultimate head bangers. And honestly, I feel Mongolian language is more suitable for heavy metal than English
Why the hell would they even try to sing in English? They aren't English. Are you one of those people that travel to other countries and expect them to speak your language?
@johnunderwood43 Thank you so much. I introduce myself formally, I founded a group on Facebook with the aim of promoting social fraternity and mutual respect by sharing Uuhai's music, you are cordially invited.
It's been rockin for a long time. You used to pretty much just have Altan Urag and Tengger Cavalry, but back then Tengger Cavalry's recording quality was soooo bad. There were some other bands, but they also had really bad sound quality. A band like this wouldn't have been noticed by labels back then and would be doing home recording like all those other guys. I was really surprised several years ago to hear the Hu on my local radio station. I know it's a lol a big commercial racket at this point, but it's good to know that people are now getting to hear and appreciate the kind of stuff I used to listen to back in the day.
I don’t know the Mongolian language, I don’t know what they’re singing about, but the music is so self-sufficient that you don’t need to understand anything else. I love the music of The Hu, I love Mongolian throat singing. Now this group has been added to my favorites.
I don’t understand how they can be so good at recommending things like this yet be so completely wrong in commercial choices-even after I give them additional information on what might work (and after they’ve apparently seen the things I watch vs the things I pass on
Пусть я и не знаю монгольского языка, но мне очень нравится сплетение деф-металла и этнического горлового пения. Спасибо! Мира и процветания Вашей земле!
57 year old Okie here. I didn't have Mongolian metal on my 2024 bingo card but this shit is bad ass and will be going on my playlist. Can't wait to show this video to my wife. Don't stop rocking!
Dude I randomly showed up here after hitting next on a previous video that was a tutorial video I watched at 1.5x speed. 1.5x setting persisted for this video as well and got halfway before I realized it 🤯
Imagine what level of fear entered the hearts of those who heard the sound of thousands of throat-singing Mongol warriors coming closer and closer üüüüüüüüüüü ÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜ
Oops...What A Rough Heavy Metal Mongolian Language... What Sort Of GuitarViolin They're Playing Ya...First Time In My Life Enjoying Mongolian Heavy Metal...❤️🔥👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I always like to discover legendary music before they go mainstream, while I dont understand a single word of lyrics the energy they give out gives the vibes of summoning a storm,an absolute banger!
That's how I got into The Hu. I attended their early concerts in small venues. I even snagged a snare drum head with all their autographs for a pittance. Probably worth something now, but I wouldn't sell it. It's valuable to me.
Ok I'm ignorant. I've been a fan of The Hu for ages. So this member lineup is this typical for Mongolian hard rock? Because it's exactly the same. I appreciate The Hu's throat singing though . I'm still out on my opinion on this
@@brendamckinley3036 Yeah, I thought it was The Hu at first, and had to check the title again. How do they differ? Well...they don't have the same shoes.
@@brendamckinley3036 Actually, it's just called the horse fiddle! "The morin khuur (Mongolian: морин хуур, romanized: morin khuur), also known as the horsehead fiddle, is a traditional Mongolian bowed stringed instrument."
@@farvista YES! The first time I heard that I was in love with that instrument! I love that group. I love how both of these bands have the guy in the center with just his voice. I think of him as the one who excites the audience
Great song in every way...but that music with that phenomenal instrument that starts at 2:03 minutes leaves you breathless....what wonderful music to my ears
Великолепно! Браво! Это просто завораживает. Монгольский рок в сочетании с народными инструментами - это магия! That's great! Bravo! It's just fascinating. Mongolian rock combined with folk instruments is magic! 😊😊😊
Possibly the most bad ass Mongolian rock, including traditional instruments, video you’ll see today. Absolutely doesn’t matter whether you understand the lyrics or not 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
YT just decided to direct me towards this band. Thank you. I don't care if i understand the lyrics, as long as the music got soul. This does... Well done boys. This is amazing music...
Those times should not return, in each of those battles none had a victory, what they obtained were the corpses of their friends, companions, family, in most human battles there is never a victory.
@mikelajole1434 Thank you so much. I introduce myself formally, I founded a group on Facebook with the aim of promoting social fraternity and mutual respect by sharing Uuhai's music, you are cordially invited.
I'd never imagined that I'd live to see Mongolian Folk Metal! Like Grim stated, "First The Hu now Uuhai..." Most excellent! Keep up the great work gentlemen!
Obviously there was more metal bands from Mongolia before. They just couldnt get attention world wide. If you interested try search for "Altan Urag" which is my favorite band. Also Nine Treasure, Tengry cavalry good.
