hello jason, one question, you don't cover the resin with anything, that is, the electroforming does not affect the uv resin? as it will decompose and contaminate the electroforming liquid excuse my ignorance on this matter
Perfect timing for me!!!! Thank you so very much for all that you share! Your classes are awesome as well!!!! I have been using my uv resin to hold my jump rings. Do you not think it holds up well enough?? I’m completely new to all of this. Again, many thanks!!!!!
If the copper is thick enough and encompases the entire ring it would be ok. I would never use Uv resin on a ring or attaching anything that is not totally encompassed though. It is strong but also lacks "toughness". That superglue trick has fixed every toy my kids have broken, and after being fixed it was 100% tougher than before.
When I go to polish after the bath, where I super glued the setting with baking soda it keeps breaking 😬 trying to find a way to strengthen my plating.
Hello first off thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have two questions thought. Where do you find the safer solution stuff and did you put the leaf part with the epoxy on it in the electroforming solition without it eating away the epoxy?
