It sounds like to me that the People in Uvalde can’t even do a peaceful protest without fear of the law in that town. Corruption is rampant at the top.

Hopefully they are caputuring the attention of hundreds of small communities throughout our state of Texas, these small communities have had all the trust in City Officials, School Board officials, who pretty much work just like this! If the people from Uvalde can't get the answers they rightfully need then you need to get rid of the mayor and anyone that failed to do the job they are paid to do. If you don't feel safe sending your kids to school this upcoming year then keep your kids at home and the school district will not get funding from the government and maybe then you will get some answers
They haven’t figured out what all happened the report facts daily but it takes time. The mayor has nothing to do with investigations he had no power when dealing with the state and federal government. He can get a park put in a town and have roads fixed, he isn’t the bad guy on this they are attacking the wrong person.

The teachers husband also needs too take a stand, because they prohibited him from going inside and take that shooter out.That principal needs too be held accountable. I feel so bad for these families. I don’t understand what the hold up is. At least meet with them. Each time I hear from this mayor he seems to be doing everything he possibly can. He’s not a big city mayor. These small communities pay very little, if anything at all. People normally do these jobs because they love the people and their community. I’m glad there is someone that cares trying to work to get answers. It’s seems like a bad deal all around.

The Mayor of Uvalde needs to outright admit law enforcement dropped the ball. He needs to stop trying to defend a screw up. He needs to side with the citizens of Uvalde. His greatest mistake was bringing the school police chief into city council after this horrific tragedy. That was a catastrophic appointment on his behalf. Sir, you only make $50 a year to be major, please show these hurting citizens you are in their corner wanting the truth to prevail. The absolute truth, not a cover up.

This group needs to have transparency with this mayor. He needs to keep and release a log of each contact he has made, the date, time, and response to each call. Not just say I am calling every day or I am calling up the chain to the school district, the sheriff, the States Attorney, the Lt. Gov, the Gov, the Congressmen, the Senators, DHS, DOJ, etc. with all of the facts. Why did they have a meeting without minutes being taken?.?

The Mayor is excluded from the District Attorney, a lawyer, the DPS is lawyered up, the Uvalde Police are lawyered up, I guess the Boarder Patrol is as well. The Judge & the Mayor are not in the loop of attorney client privilege. Yes this is dysfunctional, but it’s the way the system is. It is what it is. The body cameras will tell the truth, but that evidence is protected. My heart is broken, Uvalde is shattered , and the ONLY place to put this ungodly tragedy is in GODS HANDS, if anyone one of the victims families can manage to do that, they will see GODS HANDS all over this tragic injustice
