Amazing sound. I have a lot of great bright pianos - this sounds more balanced - I like the sustain and how the attacks are bright but not aggressive.

I really love the sampling in this library, which I just bought, but I'm having issues with playability on a Casio PX-560 that plays excellently with every other library... So a few requests: -- It seems like the change in volume from piano to forte is too dramatic, even compared to an acoustic. The timbre itself is great but the quietest notes get lost. I have to mess around with compression to get something that sounds more authentic. You can here this in a few of these demos, notably around 8:12 in Josh Charles' demo. --More control over velocity in general would be nice other than a simply bend adjustment. --Other than velocity, there should be some kind of dynamics adjustment. Such that pianissimo notes retain their warm character but they are not whisper quiet. If I adjust the velocity curve to make it easier to play louder, then the tone brightens up too much. VSTs like Ravenscroft and Pianoteq keep dynamics and velocity separate. --Repedaling and half pedal would be nice =] --It would be nice to have more 'player-oriented' presets. It seems like almost all of the presets are basically meant to give you a ready-to-use mastered sound for a recording, with only a couple that really seem like authentic emulations of a real piano. I think this library is an incredible deal, just some feedback for potential updates!

This sounds nice in the video, but I purchased the plugin and the stock sounds are completely muddy, washed out, bass-heavy, and way too reverbed, both on my speakers and my reference headphones. You can kinda hear this in the video with the gentleman playing Pathetique...the low notes in the first part. The default EQ schema is awful on most of the sub-instruments. I'm sure I could get it sounding ok with the extensive EQ and effects interface, but why would I want to? I bought it to play, not configure, and I am the furthest thing from a sound engineer. Also, what about una corda? I couldn't even find it. The only saving grace here is that I got it at the intro price of (I think) 50 bucks. I don't play this a lot because I already have the Ravenscroft 275, a vastly superior-sounding (if less versatile on the DSP side) product with perfect mic placement and stock EQ. I wish the AG had been sampled and configured the same way. Sorry, UVI...I love you guys, but this one was a miss, at least to me.

is this a Bosendorfer? I guess we don't have to conceal the name... almost all VST companies are saying it is a Steinway or it is a CFX or C7

Sounds beautiful, but I believe I hear a voice limit. Anyone know how many voices this supports?

If you have all the key suite products, you can send them an email and ask to be upgraded to the key suite bundle which includes the Austrian Grand :)

Is it my imagination, or do a few of the notes (particularly in the upper registers) sound out of tune? I've noticed that in some of the other Key Suite pianos as well. But perhaps I could be wrong!

@Philippe Niel I noticed the same thing with the Model D first with G4, then with different presets it was F4 for me too. The reason is basically in the Edit section the Tone knob depending on what amount it's set to it always makes one key sound weird. From my experience it's mainly noticeable when played at higher velocity, and I didn't notice that odd tone in demos since it's mostly people playing gently, but going back I can slightly hear it. I like the piano however that one bad key depending on the Tone sticks out like a sore thumb.

Yeah from my experience with the Model D one key always sounds weird depending on the Tone knob, sounds like an electric key, or a key running through an overdrive amp. Apart from this the pianos do sound good despite that noticeable flaw. If UVI can fix that I'd be 100% content with the pianos (plus anyone else who notices the same thing).

@@fernandomiranda9189 Perhaps that's it. But I wasn't talking about the sound of the pianos. I agree with you in that I also think the Key Suite pianos sound good. But I've just noticed that certain notes sound out of tune once in a while, and I've never heard that from any other piano sample or library that I've played, and I've played many of them. I'm also glad to hear that I'm not the only one hearing this. It's funny though...as pianists we're used to playing acoustic pianos that are slightly out of tune even when they're tuned pretty well. There's no such thing as a perfectly in-tune acoustic piano. Yet we expect our digital or software pianos to be perfectly in-tune, and it's totally noticeable when they're even slightly not in-tune.

@@RockmannMusic Did you know about subjectivity based on experience, beliefs, biases...? I'm sure you did. But let me help you a bit, it's a sunny day, I feel good, I want to share this with you. People can have a different perception about the same sound, music, movie... If you don't share some other people feelings, it's normal. You don't have to be anxious nor angry, you're not in danger, doing verbal attacks towards them, even more anonymously, is not healthy for your unconscious being.
