Journalists from the Ankole region are delighted to be invited by UWA for a media engagement today inside Lake Mburo National Park
In the society of today, media participation is crucial. They are essential in influencing public opinion, disseminating information, and fostering discussion on a range of subjects. Uganda Wildlife Authority acknowledges that journalists are important participants in wildlife protection. Engaging people so they can play their part from a knowledgeable perspective is consistent with our communication strategy.
Previously, Uganda Wildlife Authority hosted media engagements at the district offices in the Rwenzori, Northern, Eastern, Ankole, Tooro, and Kigezi regions of Uganda. However, this time, the organisation has brought the events inside the protected area, and Lake Mburo PA is the first to host them.
Bashir Hangi, the PR & communications manager for UWA, and the Chief Wardens of the visited CA's are in charge of the delegation.
