What kind of ground clearance would you guess you need for a trail like this? Got a 95 Trooper (stock except for AT tires) that I want to take to Uwharrie, but I'm not sure that it could handle the trail you were on.
I have seen all kinds of stock vehicles out here, make sure to download a map and start on the easier trails. Stay off of Daniel, Dutch John and Dickie Bell unless you are with a group or have recovery means. We are up here right now and there is a trooper in the group that has gone everywhere but he does a small lift and bigger tires. I will ask him what his setup is.
the video was recorded from a 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Everything was stock at this time. The jeep in front of me is a 2012 Sahara with a 3inch on 35's.
Before we dis our 2" hockey puck lift there was minor scratches on the under side from contact here and there in the belly pans but that is expected. Once we put the 2" on it was very minimal and we ended up trading for a JLU Rubicon and its stock height was much better. Barley rub on anything but alot of time it is choice of path.
