Yeah man its a good time! I have several URE trail tour videos highlighting all of the trails except the front side of Daniel. Good resource to get your bearings and navigate the trails!

@@XterraRob Right on man, yeah, I am watching a few now - just found your channel doing a search to see what I am getting into in a few weeks! I have a stock 2nd Gen. Specifically a 2010 Xterra Off-Road. I might be doing a PRG 1.5" spacer lift and an add a leaf before going, so it might be sitting a bit higher when I go, but otherwise stock.

That is actually a 3 way junction. The ATVs were on trail 79 behind me. Going straight across the junction continues on 79. Right takes you up to 93. It isn't a super clean intersection in the literal sense. It is more of a large circular opening with three trails converging into it.

Yes! Slab pile is easiest, wolf den is 2nd easiest. I would take this route...but at the end of the video where I turn left, stay to the right to exit the trail to a gravel road. I have a few different Uwharrie trail tour videos I have done. As long as you avoid Daniel and dickey bell, you should be OK. Most obstacles can be bypassed or you can turn around if the rocks are tough. Its much more difficult when rainy due to the clay mud...so find a dry day to give it a go. Do you have long wheel base truck or short bed? The speed humps can drag the belly if its too long of a truck.

It will be a fun car! 2nd gens are newer and nicer as far as styling and interior goes but more expensive. If you want to go on trails, definitely get 4 wheel drive. I would go 2nd gen if you can afford it!

@@XterraRob thanks so much for replying! Tbh I would want a first gen more but we can’t find any! We found one we are looking at this weekend but it’s a little pricey. Hopefully he goes down but if not I will be getting a second gen! Thanks so much for replying

The first gen is a little smaller and more nimble. Looks a little less bulky. I do like em! Little slow though!

@@XterraRob here’s an update! I got a 2005 second gen and I love it! I’m going to take off my steps and mudflaps today! It has 184k miles
