Uwharrie TrailFest Dirty Ds - Dickey Bell - Daniel Trail - Dutch John

I had a great time leading a small group of great people and their various Jeeps through the hardest trails in the Uwharrie National Forest during the Southern Four Wheel Drive Association's Uwharrie TrailFest 2023. Most of the footage in this video is from Dickey Bell and the back side of Daniel Trail. Although I didn't get a chance to film it, we were able to complete Dickey Bell (Jeep Badge of Honor) then headed down the Rocky Mountain Loop to the back side of Daniel Trail, then down Dutch John, and ended our day running the newest trail in the Uwharrie OHV area - Lakeview Trail before heading back to camp.

Hell yeah it was! He actually swapped a mustang motor into it, and has owned it for over a decade. Pretty incredible build, and even better people!

Dang! Dickey Bell is looking a lot harder than it did in the 90's! I have a lightly modified GX470 on 32's and want to give it a run but now I'm not so sure. Dutch John was nice this year and the early season is a good time to get out. Great footage of the URE area.

DB is a great trail for sure! Admittedly a challenge for some rigs, but a good time. No matter how built your rig is! The best part about wheeling with a mix of rigs and experience levels is seeing the absolute joy when we all make it to the top!
