You dont usually buy books, you can access them at the library or buy older ones from classmates, but i'd say the max investment is 80 eur per entire semester. Very low budget lifestyle: 400 EUR/mo (200 dorm rent, 120 eur food, 30 eur transport and services, 50 fun) Normal lifestyle with some travelling: 600 EUR/mo (200 dorm rent, 180 eur food - thats with ordering food or eating out sometimes, 80 eur transport and services, 140 eur for fun and in-country travels) Very comfortable lifestyle with lots of travel: 1000 EUR/mo
Hi, i am coming in Sept for Masters Infromation Systems and Management in FIS VSE, would really like to know if black students are there cos I'm from Nigeria, how's the learning and socialization atmosphere really? Racism is also a concern as I've heard Czechs seems to be enigmatic and stern-faced when they come across black students, almost like there's an undertone of racism and unfriendliness

@@uzoinyama9411 Nope, as a matter of fact? I wouldn’t advice you to go through with it as regards Czech Republic in general. That is not to discourage or pass a negative review about them but owing to the fact that, we had a WhatsApp group I was in when I was going through my process? We all applied for our Visas and their only embassy in Abuja first of all was highly corrupt and aloof, second of all, 90% of students who applied where either denied or left in the dark with no response or update to our Visa applications for months exceeding the September 16th school resumption date. As a matter of fact, majority of applicants Visa applications status was simply showing “IN PROCESS” for more than 4 months while the embassy doesn’t respond to any email or call sent. They seemed majorly interested in collecting Visa fees from students while they never intend to process or issue Visas. Upon further investigations, we got to understand that is was a notoriously common issue with Czech Republic embassies that affects not only students in Nigeria but also South American countries as well as Indian, this information was shared with me by Ms. Veronika, if you are familiar with VSE international admission office’s officer. Some students also had complaints of the embassy deliberately deceiving them with regards to “Bank Statements”, they refused accepting official statements from GTBank especially even when the student got an official letter of request from GTB to the embassy to request directly the statement from them, as Czech Republic’s embassy doesn’t have the facility to receive Statements directly sent from Banks to them without the interference of the Applicant, just like America and other embassies operates. So in conclusion, they seemed to deliberately waste applying students time and money, we also heard they are quite rac!st in a way and aloof. There is also a very rude, aloof and corrupt Nigerian man working for them as the first point of contact who collects all applicants documents from the gate, and from my experience, this Nigerian man, a northerner who is short and dark in complexion, is a decision-maker as to who goes through or not, so there you have it.
