I love it when Taehyung intentionally tries to overshadow the timbre and then returns to a different key simply to play with the music, like a mischievous friend. When it comes to Taehyung's voice and and musical/singing ability I'm always extremely cautious because honestly you're not looking at a linear landscape. His artistry truly resembles the paintings and technique of Vincent Van Gogh...sequences repeated yet never the same, the realism of the dream, the transfiguration of the identity of each element. You see the reality but which one? The enigma of the artist who challenges you because he is challenging himself and the connection he feels towards his surroundings. Too often I read: "he is a genius", perhaps used for frivolous things. The fact is that THESE are the situations in which you really see and touch his genius. One more word. My interpretation, whatever is on yor mind, what u feeling or what makes u happy, just do it. I think in the beginning, the people that are all in love were probably just "friends for now" like the lyric, and V hadn't acted on his yet; 2nd part, he acts on it with his friend now girlfriend, and the other ones are moved into the "next" stage or not being in love..The end I think is V saying even in both worlds/decisions, you're good with yourself the way it is....and you can't go back to just friends ever again, so don't risk losing the friendship...who the hell knows in other words, lol....

Its two different realities. And last scene could be the 2 nd V is the one who went on to make a friendship into a relationship. If you noticed when he died the 2nd time he had a smile on his face. I think the two V's at the end parallels the two versions -friends or in love-two sides of the story...and the reality of it hitting home. Love yourself is always the bottom line! (And he gave us all the versions of love throughout the video, embracing all forms of love.)
I think the idea of the MV is that fate is inevitable, but life is choices. In his first life, he did not confess his love to the girl, so he died alone. In his second life, he confessed his feelings to her and died happily, and in the last scene, his happy and miserable soul meet.
I think it’s so diverse and Tae standing up to dating and love being an idol and maybe a message he’s in a real relationship himself with male or female which would be amazing 💜🫶🏻

I just came up with a new interpretation - it's a nod to the Love Yourself series! Love Yourself: Her is all about wanting romantic love and the possibilities in it (Tae wanting what everyone else around him has). Tear is about losing/the breakdown of romantic relations and how it can destroy you (everyone else fighting and his gf distraught after he gets hit by a car while too blinded by her). Answer is all about discovering it's most important to love yourself. It makes perfect sense; Tae is genius if this is accurate!!

This is just my interpretation. The first stage is the lonely stage where it feels like everyone around you has a significant other and you are left alone in your feelings. The second stage is that you have someone and you are so happy that you are oblivious to the chaos around you. I think the last scene of the 2 Vs is the stage of loving and accepting yourself. I think in this journey of life the majority of us don't get to the love ourselves and acceptance stage without going through the first 2 stages.

I think the last scene waking up with himself is that he loves himself. In the first scene, he woke up alone and lonely. The second scene he woke up with someone that he loved. The third scene, instead of him, viewing it as waking up alone, he viewed it as waking up loving himself, and that he could go through his day, with himself alone but not lonely. Loving yourself.
