i wish more people watched this movie and understood its message, this movie is starting to feel like a reality.

A masterpiece which was denied and looked down by people and critics Now it feels like damn reality

Hugo Weaving really did great with this one (to be fair he does great in all his roles though haha). The face of an actor or actress is _very_ important for portraying emotion and playing a character. In this movie we NEVER see V's real face, so we never see Hugo's, yet we are able to feel V's emotion, listen closely to every word he says, and overall understand why he did what he did even if we may not completely agree with how he did it. Hugo Weavings voice and gestures were THAT powerful. And in my opinion the smooth, dramatic voice he used was perfect for the character.

V's voice in the bishop scene is amazing. He can be so polite and endearing in conversation, but in this particular scene you can feel the brutality in his voice of what he intends to do. No facial expressions needed.

You know I tried to show my friend this movie because this is the kind of thing he likes. Halfway in he’s like “this is boring”. That just made me mad because this movie is amazing

In high school world history class when we were discussing the rise of authoritarian governments in the early 20th century a question we were asked "Would you be willing to give up your freedom for food" I responded no. Still, with increased wisdom, I feel like I was lying to myself because I know that most people would do so anyone who knows anything about history can wholeheartedly agree. I would like to think that I would be better than everyone else now. Still, I would be lying if I thought I couldn't have a moment of weakness and support something like the Norsefire party if I was desperate enough in the same way to give into my fears and desires and give up basic rights and freedoms for food and security.
