Hello Friends,
Today we are going to do the review of V-Guard vg 400 voltage stabilizer. This stabilizer can be used for AC's up to 1.5 ton. We are using this stabilizer for the past 4 years and we are using this stabilizer for 1.5 ton AC. We purchased this stabilizer from Amazon for 1650 rupees 4 yrs back.
The stabilizer is good and there are no issues observed so far with the stabilizer and no issues observed with the AC due to power fluctuations. This stabilizer comes with timer delay of around 2 and half minutes. This timer delay is not every time. The timer delay is only when there are continuous power off and on within short period of time. I shall show you the timer delay in this video. The working range of this voltage stablizer is 170-270v. The capacity is 12 amps. As the stablizer is working good without any issues, we purchased the same stablizer for one more AC 3 yrs back and even that stablizer is working fine without any issues. Now, As you can see in the video the timer delay is very less as the stabilizer is switched on after quite some time. i.e if the stablizer is off for more than 15 mins and if we switch it on after that the timer delay is less
than 10 seconds. As you can see in the video the output led was red and it turned to green within 10 seconds.
The same is not the case when the power is turned off and on within short periods of time. Let me show you the time delay during that case. Now, as you can see that I have turned off and turned on immediately, the stabilizer is taking more time to turn on the output and it's not turning on the output within 10 seconds.
Now, let me show the time delay when the stabilizer is powered off and on immediately. Now that we have turned on the stabilizer and immediately turned off and then turned on again, it takes around 2 and half to 3 minutes delay before switching on the output power to AC. this time delay is required to safe guard the compressor.
Keep looking at the output LED which is red now. Red indicated that the output power from voltage is cutoff to the AC. Once the output led turned Green, it means that the output power from voltage is sent to AC and we can switch on the AC. It takes around 2 and half to 3 minutes for the same.
There are AC vents on the top and bottom of the stabilizer.
The stabilizer can be placed on the surface or can be wall mounted as you are seeing in the video.
There are grooves at the back of the stabilizer to wall mount it.
This stabilizer comes with ITDS which is nothing but Intelligent time delay system which explains the time delay behavior. The stabilizer has two LED indicators one for the input and one for the output. If the output led is red then the output power from stabilizer is cutoff and if the output led is green then the output power is from stabilizer is going to the AC. This stabilizer comes with built in thermal overload protection. This stabilizer protects the AC from Low and high voltage cut off.
This stabilizer comes with 3 years warranty.
