Love "Amateur Night", and, yes, she was a succubus. It's crazy how spot-on her design was. I remember seeing this at a screening and being so awestruck. All the straight men there were flipping out while the women were screaming with laughter. It was a fun gender reversal reaction to experience.

Almost nobody mentions it, but I think the sequel V/H/S/2 is actually the best; it’s the shortest, doesn’t beat around the bush, and I think has more hits than misses as opposed to the others that are more mixed. Even the tie-in narrative between the shorts makes the most sense. The third segment in it, Safe Haven, is probably one of the best horror shorts of all time, imo. Really intense stuff.

Yes, it’s the shortest of all the V/H/S movies and I think that’s the benefit! It’s a tight 90 minutes as opposed to around 100-120 minutes for the rest, because there are only 4 segments instead of 5. The characters in each aren’t despicable human beings either, they’re normal people.

@@dong.corleone ah, I stand corrected. I generally pretend that movie doesn’t exist, so even if Viral is technically the shortest, it doesn’t even matter to me because it’s so bad 😂 I think V/H/S/2 has the perfect run time and 4 segments is the best approach, for sure.

There are 2 ABCS of death possibly 3. They are excellent. I love VHS but that doesn't touch ABCS for WTF shorts. I was blown away by both those movies and I've been a horror fan for 33 years

The succubus reminded me of Anya, and then: Anya clips! I love this channel!!❣ I only voted for VHS bc it was the only movie title I recognized, and now we're not friends?😭 But watching Nick try to work out the plot and joke around is what makes him such a good reactor-it feels like watching with a fun friend. Horror anthology films are an iconic staple of the horror genre, and tons get released every so often. While popular, I wouldn't say the vhs series is the best since the quality wavers a bit by with each segment, but it has its fans. I do recommend watching vhs 2, it's easily the most solid one.

Im so glad i voted for you to watch. When I first watched this movie I had no idea what it was about and it was years after it came out and I just put it on at 2 in the morning when I was home alone. Worst decision ever. I was scared and I am woman enough to admit that. I was creeped the hell out. I had to turn on all the lights as I made my way around my house. Found footage isn't usually my thing but this, this was good.

This was 1 of the greatest reaction videos I have ever seen. Yes this movie is overwhelmingly fucked up and terrifying with little to no explanations for all of the fucked up grotesque scenes, but watching your reaction to all of the madness was an absolute (and admittedly sadistic) delight. And if you ever do decide to brave through part 2 I will be all for it. The 3rd and 4th ones unfortunately provided diminishing returns although the most recent one was an improvement. And they're making another 1 hahaha👹

Weird fact about the glasses cam segment, the monster's name is Lilith, this got turned into a full fledge movie(but it's switched from party people to messing around at the guy with the glasses cam's bachelor party) & Lilith let glasses guy/POV cam go until last cause she planned to mate him & apparently her species mates for life

i was almost near death when i saw this movie..picture a 103 fever, bronchitis which turned into pnemonia, a dangerous flu strain sick for 2 months and lost 15 pounds, watching at night and on opioids...i even said THIS MOVIE IS A MASTERPIECE lol thats how out of it i was. i was so delirious... each segment is short and reminds me of those scary short horror films on YT..saw one called I HEARD IT TOO on matt sears.. that one actually really scared the daylights out of me and i am hard to scare..the acting was pretty good in VHS too

There is officially 5 V/H/S movies I personally love them. For how they are made wich is the ones behind the movies hire some one to do the wrap around story's. That is the story that starts the movie an holds it together an ends the movie. Then other directors for the short films in the movie. They basically go to each person here is your budget an here's how much time you have an here's when we need it in by an here's how long it can be. Other than that there is no instructions or no guidelines other than for the ones making the wrap around story. They have to make room an places for the short films but the wrap around story is completely up to them. Basically the ones behind the VHS movies give the directors complete freedom. To make any kind of short film they want to make.
