V'hi Sheamda - Vehi -- "and it is this" - refers to the promise G-d made to Abraham to take our forefathers out of Egypt. The Jewish nation throughout the generations have faced many enemies. Each one different, yet each shared a common goal of wiping the Jewish nation out. Despite their efforts, G-d has always come to the Jewish nations rescue and we are still standing strong today. From Pharoah in Egypt to Hitler in Nazi Germany to the rise of anti-Semitism today, Israel is strong, the Jewish nation is strong.
Vehi She'amda is a verse in the Passover Haggadah that has brought much hope to the Jewish people throughout the centuries especially during times of oppression.
