As a former police officer, a lawyer and now an intelligence officer in one of the G7 countries. I support the idea of a state police, because governors will use it as a vendetta machine against their opponents. Instead let everyone from the ranks of assistant commissioner of police bellow serve in their states to origin.
State or community police can not solve any problem. Crime goes with poverty and idleness. Nigeria needs to do something drastically immediately. We have serious dangers in our hands.
