The bug only allows you to jump via open doors, as long as you have servant locked doors, and you keep them closed - you should be good with loot on any floor

no. isolated pillars can make your castle under attack and prevent repairs but that's it.

for snake maze, you can do 1-tile gap now instead of 2-tiles. you can also position the servants closer or the banshees.

You just copy this general design concept for all entrances. If the entrances are close enough, you can even semi-combine them, using stairs to help funnel them where you want to go if the plot is OK. This isn't very common though... usually 2+ entrance bases have the entrances too far apart, or it's a 3 entry base so it doesn't matter that 2 are close together, the 3rd makes it bad.

most of the time if we get a bad plot, we either do the entrance on 2nd floor if base has 1 entrance on 2nd floor or just wait for a good spot to free up.

@@TheSweetSpirit so this one had entrances within the same line, so we ended up splitting the base in 2 and having the entrances both funnel into the same spot, then another base spot opened up which was a lot better, we did opt for going with a warrior/rogue based entrance, not a scholar one

When I feel creative, I make long snake mazes that leads to nothing then just do a "hidden" stairs that quickly goes to the top floor. Sometimes, I even put the loot room in the middle floor. The more unpredictable the base is, the better. Putting doors on multiple sides of the topmost floors is very good. Multiple exits on all floors is a must in my opinion.

golem range attack does no damage on that pillar that's why I don't remove it.

yes. you dont wanna give the enemy an easy wall/door to breach

@@nova_nova_nova do pillars/door frames not count as things that can be destroyed and put your castle in breach ? only solid walls/ window walls / and any sort of doors ye ?

​@@nova_nova_novawhy is this important? It seems like it would be beneficial to have the raid timer start ticking down earlier on a lower part of the base that means nothing. Is there a reason you don't want the raid to start earlier on meaningless walls/pillars/doors?

@@Otyrr The goal is to prevent the breach, which is the most important. First door must not break.

@@HangingHecate Yeah, I had someone explain it in a different post. Basically saying if they break that down, they breach and can get another get in the base really low and start the siege again really fast.

there are no-wipe servers but it's not popular. the game is more fun when you reset.

1.0 is releasing very soon. There are a lot of changes that will heavily affect the run. Thus, it won't be very beneficial for me and the viewers to learn about it.

there are 2 good spots: the leftmost and rightmost.

just the mountains. theyre the only 2 spots there with only 1 entrance, hence they're good.

ye. they have pillows inside. pretty comfy real answer: they are the same thing. it's all just preference. wood coffin is like a futon while stone coffin is like a mattress on a bed frame.

The thing is, you can bind 2 coffins of different type on a given server at the same time(you can build *unlimited* number of coffins, but only 2 of them can be bound). The bigger one - stone - should probably go to the top floor with more room, while you can keep the smaller wooden coffin near the entrance of your castle in case you need some good old coffin healing. Just dont forget to bind the appropriate ones if you have more castles

Can’t you also use copper and up weapons or bear form to break wooden walls? In general only use them very early and get a small stone area asap to put materials in until you can expand it farther 😁

You do know that there's no "Offline safe" Castle mate? Building a snake maze and hope other vampires will intervene to stop the attack is the only hope you have.. or them running out of golems.

no problem. I made this for the people who really wants to know. I'll maybe make a new one that is aimed for 1.0.

That’s quite literally what it comes down to, just wasting as much time as possible, but it’s more than that, look at the placement of the doors all the way from the beginning, and the stairs to force choke points and delay even further.
