well done - nice flights ;) it seams to be a 1972 model year. The 99 is a bullet proofed of a car and higher solid than the later 900 in nearly any kind. Better ignore the hypes about 900. But sadly 1972 came still with the less useful and bad reputated Triumph engine .. One year later Scania showed best work and rebooted that engine (as the B20) in high standard of a great engine era that lasted for a long period and beeing a basical unit for the turbo enginering. It is just a period matter of time and therefor a shame .. the early (Triumph) cars look much nicer with chrome and styling pure instead
I have a ‘73. Same bumpers, same dashboard, other sterling wheel and off course the very nice b-engine. It is my 4th 99. The most beautifull one and the one that drives the best. The b-engine has more range than the h-engine it seems. Roundabout in shift 3 in stead off shift 2 in the ‘b’
Thanks! A bit different to the usual content here, but we had great fun filming. I actually bought the car myself originally, then realised I didn't have the time / money / skill to restore it properly. My friend bought it off me and has done an amazing job, it's like new now!
