I'm mind blown why they used a mercedes to represent the V8 sound. Either use a late 1960s muscle car or use a modern muscle car but modern mercedes V8s sound bad.
@@DesertStateNevada I mean I totally understand your pov but as a huge fan of modern mercedes amg (pre current gen) the recording they used sounded like it was recorded on an iPod touch. IRL my amg sounds much better.
@@harbzsquadings2277 depends on the generation. W204 C63 or W212 E63 sound like they want to kill you. W213 MOPF E63 sadly has a OPF which kills most of the sound.
The W16 in the Chiron is a great engine, a masterpiece, I love that ground-shaking rumble but when it comes to the high pitch of the V12 especially the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, man the V12 still reigns 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯 NB: Take it to Gintani for that F1 exhaust and some 🔥🔥🔥🔥 this case is closed, the V12 wins
People saying LFA sounds too weak or too thin I guess it's because Lexus didn't want to push for more power with this engine. LFA it capable of doing at least 700 horsepower
V10 hands down. Also the SF90 is not a flat engine, it's 90 degrees. Ferrari hasn't built a horizontally opposed engine in decades, at least since the 90s. Also the SF90 is a hybrid. It does, however, have a flat plane crank if that's what you're referring to.
The V10 & V12 both hit that sweet spot. I also think that the Jaguar V8 S/C engine, Aston Martin V8, and Maserati V8 sound a lot better than the AMG V8 in the E63S. They should have also used the Lexus LFA V10 as that engine sounds superb!
I had an SF90 fly by near me a few months back and I can whole heartedly say that noise was spectacular. The other cars here all sound great but for me it has to be the SF90 based on the memory I got from seeing and hearing it screaming feet away from me
The V6 was the best, although I think mainly because the pitch on the others killed the audio a little. I’ve never heard a V8 sound like that before, all screech and no throat.
I6 is just the best engine before the V6, V8 etc. V6 just sounded amazingly but a bit like crackly, laggy idk. V8 on the Mercedes sounded pretty bad tbh but the flat V8 sounded insanely good. V10 is just majestic. V12 is from another universe
From this sound, I would say the V12 for me. But I remember the v10 in the Galardo with the exhaust it had sounded the best of any engine I ever heard.
