Europe 392 Charger 2012 here. I dont understand the whole hate between V6/V8, if i meet a Dodge on the road here in EU i flash the lights and have a coffee with him on petrol station. Every Dodge driver (or US car driver) is my brotha :)
I think it sounds great man. Mine still has the stock mufflers with the rears deleted and it sounds good enough for me for now. Always remember that as long as YOU like what you do to YOUR car, that's all that matters. Fuck everyone else. If they ain't buying the mods, they don't get a say.
I got two vibrant bottle resonators at the rear and one ultra quiet resonator in the middle on an SXT Charger, and it literally sounds the same man, but definitely way smoother at higher RPM. Even the pops when downshifting are the same, and I also don’t like the sound at the start like you mentioned, I think it’s just the boomy sound and the cabin noise. Judging by the slight raspiness when you go above 5k rpms, you should add a vibrant resonator in the middle to tame the raspiness. It’ll also make it sound a little deeper.
@@2Slo.220 Right on brother, with an H pipe and a nice vibrant resonator in the middle I think you’d have the best possible combination, there won’t be much you could do improve the sound after that.
Nice bro, I had the flowamaster 44's on mine at first and deleted the rears...it was loud but didn't sound good until 2100 rpms ...now i have 40s on and its like a motor bije imo....so next I'll try your setup ..sounds like what I want
You hit it on the head, it’s your car and you like it and that’s all that matters bro, and you can always add more power too it if you want more speed and acceleration.
Bro, lost my 2009 Challenger after a Drunk hit me. My new 2023 GT with the Pentastar engine has been tricky. Gone through MF 40's (nope), Straight pipe (nice, but got race-challenged once a day by Hondas), and had Magnapacks the last few months (too quiet). I think I'm going to BigBoz. I see you have the 4s. Sounds great, but what do you think the difference is between 4s and 5s with the Challenger V6s?
If you don’t want it too loud that’s a solid option bro! If the stock resonators are too quiet for you swap out the resonators for some vibrant resonators
Is there a lot of drone or none at all. I have straight pipes on mine which is too loud, and drone is annoying. You had to buy 2 big boz exhuast right, 1 for each pipe right.
H-pipe will definitely improve the sound! I have a new set up but haven't installed yet, I'll get to it after winter. New set up is: 3 inch pipes from cats to the tips, with 1 or maybe 2 H-pipes, 2 big box 4 (mids), no rear muffs/res, and then 4.5" or 5" tips (I forget which size I bought).
I currently have 2 flowmaster super 10's (mids), res delete, factory "x" pipe. It actually sound pretty good but 3 inch pipes and H-pipe should make it sound bad ass.
