This is the V6 Sprints - 2014 / 15 season review featuring all 15 cars / drivers to take to the track in a competitive nature for the season. Chris James, Steve Agars, Nick Hall, Jason Wilson, Mark Brown, Michael Buxallen, Jeff Pipikos, John Mackenzie, Kym Simon, Chris Quinton, Troy Lane, Ben Disbury, Greg Bell and Chris Sweetman.
Also included are some of the promotional activities the club participated in such as the Heart Kids Day, ANZAC Day, Repco Churchill Road display and also the Tough Car Charity Toy Run where we were seen on the Ch7 News. These and other evets were to promote not only the class but overall, the sport of Speedway in South Australia and to round it off we let our hair down with an end of season function at the 'V8 Superbar' in Salisbury to celebrate the winners and those who have dedicated their time to V6 Sprints Inc which include Danni Barrow and Colin James, etc.
It was also an interesting time of the Australian Speedway landscape as the V6 Sprints had rebranded and aligned with the Mini Sprints and Lightning Sprints in other parts of the Australia to become a national class, this would last for a short period of time known nationally as the Lightning Sprints class and Australian titles were staged including the 2012 Australian Championship hosted at the Murray bridge Speedway in South Australia.
The V6 Sprint Club of South Australia was founded in 1995 by Stan Wallace and a dedicated bunch of enthusiasts mostly coming from a Speedcar background. From humbled beginnings the class was designed as best bang for your buck racing has developed into a stable part of the SA Speedway landscape and is fast approach 30 summers of Speedway action!
