I loved this game. This game was my favorite when I was younger wish I can find my PS2 again and maybe get V8 supercars 3 again as well as and the 1st one
I went to Mildura a few months ago and went to the V8 simulators and when I found out it was V8 supercars 3 I got excited. I managed to win that one after spinning on Lap 1 turn 1
Hello Dink. The game is unfortunately not on steam, so your best option would be to buy a physical disc copy off eBay (currently there are listings for this game). As for installation, I'd suggest a web search on the matter for any help. As for me, I can install this game off the cd (using the standard installer) on my windows 10 computer. The only issue I came across is that my virus protecting software likes to block the installation process (of older game cd's) somewhat. To get around this, I temporally disable protection (please do this offline) and then install the game off the cd the usually way (If you need to do the same, then don't forget to re-enable virus protection before going back online). The last thing to know is that it's possible to increase the resolution higher then the ones offered by the game. Here's some text on doing this. After the game has installed: Run the Hardware Setup tool and select 1024x768 (make sure to save changes). Go to the savedata folder in the installation folder. Edit pchardwareconfig.ini. Change the FullScreenHeight= and FullScreenWidth= values to match your resolution. Change the FullScreenRefresh= to your resolution's refresh rate (usually 60 or 75). Save your changes. PLEASE NOTE: Game needs to be set to XP compatibility for the resolution fix to work.
