VA Gauge Face Installation Tutorial

Welcome to the first ever tutorial on how to install VA gauge faces for your 2015+ Subaru Impreza WRX/STi!
NOTE - we apologize for the miscommunication, however the reset pin used in the video is not included in the gauge face kit. They are made from 5mm LEDs with the pins cut down, and should be purchasable at any local electronics store. We apologize for the inconvenience!

I so want this but in black and white. When you put that together. The needle colors changed. Did you do that or did that happen by itself with the face change?

welp i got done and installed it and now I have check engine light and the screen in the middle is flashing a symbol that looks like a gauge and the sport/intelligent/sportsharp is blinking as well, what did I do wrong?

This is full of shit. If the needle starts to come out, the stepper is fucked and you have to re-seat it or replace it.

Subaru clusters are notoriously fragile. If the needle comes out there is a way to re-seat it, covered in another video. Unfortunately this is the only known way of performing this modification.

@@illumaesthetic fyi. I found an interesting trick, make the cluster a bit cold, then put rubber gloves on for grip, then quickly twist and pull and they come out quickly and reliably.
