Im from the U.S. and what you said is so true lol. I'm not all into that rap, pop/stupid girly voices. Where as is Europe.....that's where the music is at. My favorite artists consist of Maiday, Uppermost, Arkasia, and Vacant. The music they make is just the most beautiful music I have ever heard (specifically Maiday, Uppermost, and Vacant). Plus many awesome artists to come!
This is, to put it simply, transcendently amazing. Harks back to so many of the Burial EP''s in its nature. Congratulations on such a great tune and 4-track EP mate!
If you go back to the origins of the subgenre "dub", you'll notice that not even so-called dubstep fits into that genre, not even remotely. I don't know if drop would be correct way to describe what comes after the build here, but it's drop like however subtle. But for the love of music let's just sit back and enjoy. That what music is for right? Peace. OH!! One more thing, BIG UP UK, you guys keep the music coming. I don't know what's going on over there but please continue.
Dubstep will never be like this, mainly because this isn't dubstep. This can be classified as "future garage," "Glitch-Hop," or even as Chillstep. Dub is far too "out of the box" for this to ever fit. Last but not least...Dub has a drop. There may be a drop in bass in this song, but there is no official "drop" like Dub would have. I will agree on this though...this IS the future of music!!
