Great Content Cody, Erika and Bub. It is a Great thing seeing Bub learning so much about Cattle, Pigs and Sheep. He is such a Disciplined young Man. This is doing a lot for him when he gets Older. It is Always a Pleasure watching u All work in Unison. Great job, and Keep Ranching!

Enjoyed the video. I haven’t been raised around cattle so I was quite surprised at how much they weighed already and how much weight they’ll be gaining. Looking forward to the future videos on them. Clancy sure isn’t scared to get in there and learn and do things, very impressive. ❤❤

I’m glad to see your “experiment “ on using the bulk feeder. I’ve considered doing that myself versus hand feeding everyday to save on time and labor. Looking forward to seeing the results 👍🏻

Reminds me of working with Palmer Willis herfords when I was a young man. You guys did a great job with the vacinating and worming, implants, ear tags and I know chute work it is harder work than it looks, Yall keep on ranching.

Great information being passed on by Cody he is super knowledgeable. And I have to ask what is the pocket knife he carries. I have seen him cut rams to cow tails and I think I need one lol. We raise goats and to have a knife that holds an edge like that oh boy. I know he keeps it sharp and up kept as well.

Just curious would leaving the tail bush be more effective one keeping fly's off each other than a uniform look it sure is going to be interesting to see the gain in next few months hopefully the heat will go down next while. If I recall looks like you have got gain already

Love this commercial division for kids to participate in. I came up showing steers and always thought it was not a true reflection of the industry. Our county added a carcus division 20+ years ago, which opened a lot of people's eyes. The showy steers were not the best on the rail. Good luck on your projects!

Thank you for the video!! Never seen a implant put in a cow ! So this helps weight gain.. okay. Do you only feed out shelled corn or do you use the shelled corn ,cobs and the stalk ground up for feed? Or what do you use to feed out those steers exactly?

We raise all natural angus because that’s what our customers want, but I have zero issue with implanting or anything and the people that do more than likely have never raised an animal for market or for anything really
