I don't understand the Vaccine player... I think I saw him playing against another Imperial before and he did pretty well but in this video he's playing soooooo scared. Game 1 he easily could've won like two turns before he did but he was playing super scared. Then on game two at 25:59... He had Imperial suspended with minus 5k DP, his Magna was protected and already had 15k DP, instead of giving so much memory to his opponent he could've simply swung with Magna, kill the Imperial and partition would've never happened because of battle, and if the Imperial player blasted yeah the Rapid was doomed but would've still died and give Vaccine player an additional 4 memory because of overflow... Still happy Vaccine won, I feel so weird rooting for Vaccine but fuck Imperial.
@@KnTElixar Yeah most likely, still I would've gone for the swing and then play Pillow because giving so much memory to a deck that already prints memory is so scary... Luckily for the Vaccine player the Imperial dude was fried after the Heaven's (nice commentary there lol) and misplayed the option.
I can tell you why i did this turn. Pillomon ist the key. He couldn't partion with it on the board. Also it shuts down his tamer. But the removal of my pillomon ist quite easy possible with the st- paildramon that lets him bounce something with 6k or less. But i let my rapidmon stay on purpose. Why? Cause now he has to decide: remove the pillomon or the rapidmon that can go into Magna X and i have 2 non removal digimon? My opponent went 3rd oval and had great results in the past. Why swing more than necessary? Give him another Davies? Like it happend in round 5? Nope my gamestate was: i am in lead, i won game 1. I have pillomon, i have an unremovable Digimon, i have the potential for another Magna X and can Swing possible for Game (2x Magna x = 4 Swings) pillomon 5 and the patamon in raising is a thread. So i put him on such pressure. Sometimes it's about playing control and waiting. 1 turn wait for me is no tempoloss. But for him it is now the time to decide how he wants to spend his limited removal techs and not beeing completly stuck
@@schmidttimm5736 I love your reasoning, but at the same time I still think giving so much memory to Imperial could be even scarier than a swing to security, he misplayed the option which was key here but I feel like it could’ve gone the other way around. Again, I like your reasoning still, just that… I have been hit a lot already by Imperial and watching them play with so much memory brings Vietnam’s flashbacks.
